Back in the 80s when I was a kid, they had one of these in my hometown in Oklahoma. The Pharmacy sold cards, over the counter meds, prescript meds and of course...burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. It was one block from the middle school so when we got off the bus for the exchange, we used to walk over and get us some candy and food. I miss that place, It was called The City Drug and the grill was called The Fountain.
Mary and Linda are the best .... I would stop by and take 6-10 burgers/w chips and drinks out to the rigs I was calling on, the guys requested the burgers many times. The burgers at Stanton Pharmacy and Grill are the BEST in Texas !!! Their drinks taste as they did 20+ years ago... cola's or milkshakes !!
my grandmother lived about 2 blocks from here--our trip to visit her from el paso always included at least one meal here--remembering the 60's and 70's
Hey man, watch alot of these burger videos! 2 questions, how many burgers have you eaten? and, do you ever eat whataburger? If so, does it even hold up to half of these joints?
To make a good burger is harder than you think. Never had a bad burger? Maybe you have not. I spoke to a guy once who said that he could not tell the difference between Breyer's and Blue Bell. Maybe you are the same way with burgers. Can't tell the difference between one that is good and one is not good.
If your in Stanton eat there. If your in Big Spring eat at The Wagon Wheel. Midland is Bob's Better Burger and Odessa is Watts. They all make damn good hamburgers.
Never really went there when I lived in Stanton, surprising my siblings and I never stopped by walking home from school. But speaking of Stanton that shack that’s across the elementary school has the best carne guisada I ever had.
That bloke who said that they're the best hamburgers in the world, Fair Bloody Dinkum what a fucken statement. He's probably never been outside of the United States or even Texas for that matter.
I knew I would find a cheese-oriented Virtue Signaler in here. And it only took 29 comments! American "cheese" IS the proper application for an American Cheeseburger. Granted, there are many cheeses that one can use to make a delicious cheeseburger. So now that we all know what a cheese sophisticate you are, you can relax.

Mary and Linda don't cut the burgers unless requested ... or you can cut it yourself.
I think the grill and the girls are the secret ingredients. I eat there every chance I can.

DON'T SEE MUCH COLOUR IN THAT DINER.
Last time I ate there was on my birthday in 2015. We examine the bank that moved next door.
Drug & Grill ... that's too funny.
10 percosets and a double burger please
Love places like this.
That would be a lot better if you used REAL CHEESE, instead of that FAKE STUFF, I can get that anywhere, correction, it’s another fakecheeseburger!
