That's very true, many hospital private nursing colleges offer two streams for both Math Literacy and Pure Maths. People just need to pass, and in order to ensure they surpass the rest, they'll have to get higher marks (60% at least). Even courses for teaching degrees are now competitive, they no longer just take anyone that passed matric.

Hey ma'am thank you for your videos, truly brings up the inner dream within me. Just a few questions. In your opinion, which Gauteng private or public institutions do you think are good for one to pursue auxiliary nursing ,and can one still study further to something like being a "scrub nurse" and how long will it take.

      Hi my darlington❤️
I can't tell you which one is suitable because I haven't been in public institutions but I believe because it's government founded it must be good, for private institutions I believe they are the best but the funds are too high please visit sanc website (South African nursing Council) for accredited institutes, and yes remember auxiliary nursing is an entry meaning you'll have to work your way up hope that answers your question 😊

Hi Yonela, I saw a government bursary post that says if you have axillary and meet all other requirements stated on the post you can apply but you can further your studies at any other institution when you have auxiliary nursing under the LPR learner prior recognition meaning that's a basic entry to whatever institution your applying for and also if your over 23 you can apply for M30 which is an exemption entry to institutions provided that you have matric and didn't pass well
