- Hey guys today we're going to be looking at two similar but ultimately quite different patterns. The woodland BDU from the U.S. Army/Marine Corps and the South Korean Tonghab pattern. South Korea really adopoted the general principles/color scheme of the Woodland BDU but totally made it their own with a unique color scheme and new shape patterns.
The points you made about velcro remind me so much of a very famous funny video of a guy yelling to hide his reload. And on the reinforced elbowpads: are there uniforms that incorporate slots for adding padding? Like, as in foam? I mean that's gotta be pretty cushy for a soldier but... would be nice :)
Yes there are uniforms that incorporate elbowpads, but incorporating kneepads is far more common. It's usually plastic with foam on the inside. They work much better incorporated in the clothes rather than worn on the outside. The skateboard style ones come off really easy in combat.
it was for sale at AP last month but sold out already. thank you for explaining, as when i saw it on the site, along with granite B, i wasmt sure if there were differences from M81 woodland
Glad I could help!
