The name "Neopixel" is Adafruit's term for WS2812 LEDs, which have been around so long they are cheap and easy to get. Look on Amazon or ebay for "neopixel ring" or "neopixel strip" and you will find lots of vendors. The description will usually have "WS2812B" in the name. Also look on Adafruit's website for more info: www.adafruit.com/category/168

if the censor only alarms when door open, maybe you can use it as a variable.
