I own a 1122DC and occasionally one channel cuts out and when I press the tone defeat button the channel comes back on. Is it possible to clean the tone defeat switch from the front? How did you clean yours?
    Thanks

I had the same happening to my 1152DC... Just recently the left channel started emitting very quietly and with distortion... Debating how to approach this issue haha

I purchased a new receiver in 1979. The Tech Hifi store was out of stock but I didn't want to blow my money so I paid cash and waited for delivery. It would take a few weeks for my Hitachi SR-804 to arrive so the store manager gave me a choice of "loaner" amp of comparable power. I picked a Marantz 1090 and got to use it for three weeks. It seemed to have more power than its conservatively rated at 45wpc. Marantz receivers and amps had that "industrial" look. The only integrated amp I've ever used, it was boss.

Hey +Blueglow Electronics , now I looked at your video , and have been greatly impressed by you and your job and restauration of age amplifiers, But I have one question for you , Have one pair Dali Evidence 870, which plays crystal clear , but only a small amplifier from Pioneer VSX923K kneeling until I get stretched on Dali loudspeakers I have , have you any suggestions for good stereo amplifier that has a strong current and not false Watt , ??

Thanks. I have one that works but could use some TLC. Thanks for the info. Love this amp. I have 3 pair of JBL 4311 studio monitors that I have had since 1979. Absolutely love the sound. I have been interested in modifying the sound boards, but have had mixed reviews.
    Rick

Have one that was doing the same. Used it as a studio amp. For years it was solid and reliable. So glad i have kept it .
Think I can fix it up now. Thanks. Love the Shins......

If you have tinnitus turn off the volume at 5:35 or you're in for a lot of pain (and more hearing damage).

This video again is very interesting but your voice is rather low, what is that tool called to detach mains cable? Also the tool which detaches the springy hookup wire from jumpers?

out of curiosity how much did you pay originally for the 3 piece and rack? those vintage pieces are beautiful. like a classic car, functional art.

+Alfonso Morales Audio gets better after about BG050 or so, I've tried 6 different camera setups since I started but turned out to be my video editing software causing some of the issues as well.
