Speaking plainly, Roger didn't let Oona get a word in edgewise. Super uncomfortable to watch the sister try to say something and never, not once I believe, be able to get a word out. Roger most likely doesn't see himself as chauvinistic, but he most certainly is. Roger, if you interview couples in the future, make it a point to let b-o-t-h persons talk. If this be rude, at least I hope you remember it. Retitle this piece, "Interviewing Gage Brown While Oona Brown Looks On."

Sorry I am not a professional interviewer, and a lot of other people have been saying that. I got really nervous and didn't realize that the older brother was dominating the conversation. I didn't get to do it again this year because of hockey, but next year I will do it again and certainly give her more time to speak!

She seemed shy in front of the camera which seemed strange as she is used to performing in front of thousands. I don't think he was intentionally dominating the conversation, he just seemed more charismatic and protective over his sister so he took the conversation lead.

(Sharon Shneyer), Having completely finished watching the interview, I'm not so sure it was as bad as it was made out to be, however, I do feel that the interviewer should learn something about figure skating, in particular ice dancing before the next interview in my opinion.

Hi Sharon, I need to work on that. I am an ice hockey player doing this for fun. We are all in a fund raiser for Batter women, the American Cancer Society and other Long Island groups. We are raising money by playing and figure skating. Many of my retired professional hockey players were there and they are on the Stanley Cup for the NY Rangers. There are retired Islander players who played also. Again it is all for charities and a 24 Hour hockey tournament.
Have a great weekend. I am a professional scuba diver and Lionfish hunter so you know. Check out my website; Lionfishdivers.com.

Clearly he is extroverted and the spokesperson for the duo. She is introverted and glad to be having her older brother handle public speaking part. She gets more attention on the ice than he does. From the skating videos, I’d think she’s more outgoing and he is shy, but it’s the opposite. I have anxiety when I have to say something in public and it’s the same like she had here, it’s blocking you from actually saying something.

Answers question..."oh, interesting, and Oona, what do YOU think about that?" Later, "Oona, what's it like to skate with your brother? How do you manage school and competing?"
SO many questions, but you have to guide the interview and don't let a younger, quieter female be drowned out by the extrovert, male talking all the time!
Women are conditioned to not speak up and are not encouraged to be confident to share their experiences and opinions enough already.
