lol at the comments here. I never forgot how toxic the arena brawler communities could be toward anyone just trying to learn the game. You were either a tryhard, spammer, or both. Then there were the ones swearing up and down it could be competitive, even i admit i was one of those till I wisened up.

You could def be using more optimal Kenshin combos. The one’s you were using with Rukia assist were meter heavy but tons of damage, nice. ’ll try and post some at some point.
It’s interesting how Goku and Vegeta have their exact same assist from fighterz and they are still good
They've had those assist in J stars
Noobtube actually, Goku hasn’t been placed that well on tier lists. Vegeta and *especially* Frieza have tho.
Best high tier characters from the beta are Seiya and Ichigo

super saiyan goku is better than his super saiyan blue......Because if you use his meteor combination in super saiyan he didn't say a word like (kaioken) so the enemy didn't know that you use his meteor combination and his kamehameha became vanishing kamehameha

This game is just 100% style for me. Trying to make the most badass or funny looking character and than combining the most awesome looking abilities and ultimate moves into sweet looking combos. So freaking fun!

I really want to see gameplays of the characters outside of the beta. They never touched up on Dragon Shiryu much and I really want to use him in the actual game

you probably already know but just in case you dont at the end of ichigo's r2+square you can follow up with square x2 then r2+triangle x2.

Does anyone know how the created characters assists are going to work? Like will it be just whatever is mapped to a specific button? Do you decide? What if you only have counters?
With the right balance the game has Future. Maybe someday with the right mechanics we Can get a competitive fighting arena game

Eek, you should try combing ■■■(until teleport behind)♤♤♤(pretend the spades are triangles and until the arial spin, then before you finish the spin you can combo out of into the R2■ and launch them, following with a chase and if you time it right you can catch them in another combo, it's my go to melter for online (when I played before anthem)
On a side note I'd love to run a round or 2 with you sometime, nice seeing another kenshin appreciator ya know?

Hola Globku! Honest question: Since you share a single health bar in this game, WHY not stay on your main character and use the other two as assists only?
Outside of combos that get prolonged with a tag in (dunno if that is a thing, don't have played it yet) I would assume it is the safest bet to stay on the main character. And only switch him out if the matchup is unfavorable.
Raw tagging can be useful for neutral or pressure. It can also be used to escape certain combos. And there are matchups where you should just switch. Kenshin for instance, isn't very good against zoners

Tbh im a Kenshin main and im still kinda new so no hate but I like personally like to use the Nine-Headed Dragon Flash more then anything else because its easily spamable. I can't do 1v1s for some reason so don't say I just mash buttons.

Mashing can be countered. Assuming players actually pay attention to the turtorial. And after numerous pvp with a buddy, we found out that some abilities can be countered too
Except special abilites.

Press R3 mid combo
When you have your awakening gauge half full or full, press the right thumb stick mid combo. Your whole team does attacks and you go into awakening.
If only we have another Saint Seiya character, that way the three of them could do Athena's Exclamation

I never played a game where the computer is more toxic then actual players. Everytime I fight the computer they block and spam supers lol it gets annoying

You can try hard and be sweaty on this game but it’s not meant to be super tournament e sports competitive just like xenoverse it’s more for fun and casual fighting you want sweaty go to fighterz or guilty gear or something

You hold square or x until the light charges fully then you release it to vanish. Every character has different timing so fullness around w it

Could be because Kenshin’s sword isn’t your typical sword
@@Bruhsfx808 I'm not sure if that really matters, it's a blade, it should make a slashing sound just like Ichigo's sword unless that's how it is in the anime of Kenshin.

Thats all the game comes down to, blocking and simple optimal combos. Theres no depth or high skill ceiling. Globku isnt being serious here, hes using hyperbole.

No the unbeatable one is the default one, I'm actually serious. I beat everyone with the character you choose at the beginning number 3. The one with super spirit bomb as the ultimate. Also the best team of three for me is kenshin, ichigo and rukia or kenshin, ichigo and zoro.
