Beautiful work. It's sad and frightening, but honestly this footage makes me so proud of our state and governor for our action and dedication to keeping others safe.
He is involved in our judiciary system human trafficking of Ppl with intellectual/developmental disabilities, the elderly and children , so he is not only not keeping them safe, but exploiting them and profiting from them, mentally torturing them and anyone who tried to defend them, , but yeah, he did a good job shutting Denver down when he did for the Covid 19, it also has a lot to do with Ppl choosing to listen, so good job to them too, have a Blessed Day
Truly captivating. Thank you Metro Denver for taking this seriously and thank you for filming this for us Blake Rubenstein. I was born and raised here and this isn't far from how things looked on a Sunday morning (except that most of those buildings weren't here).
Beautiful, haunting. It's changed so much over the years. I've lived in Denver since 1997 (Colorado Springs girl here), moved away for four years to Japan in 2013, and then when I moved back in 2017, it was shocking to see how much the population had exploded, and places I knew for years having gone out of business. It was my home city, but not my home city. Everything was the same, but strange and different. This footage was beautiful. Thank you!
Coors Field is ready for us to return...the field is amazing but the sadness from no games prevails. Oh, we'll get through this all, I'm sure. Continue to stay safe, y'all.
I live and work in downtown Denver and this, along with my personal experience each day, reminds me of Night of the Comet. Shared this clip with my WFH colleagues who've been asking what downtown is like. Thanks for capturing its eerie desolation!
This was very unsettling to watch. Good, but really unsettling. Thank you for sharing this! I'm in isolation and have been wondering. I hope to see more from you!
Now do a flyover of the areas down south in the suburbs so you can see literally every single person outside and in contact with each other playing tennis and having a group of 8 walking a single dog. Denver is only following because there's nowhere to go. Everything downtown is shut down.
Beautiful and eerie...... contrasted in our minds (for those who live or have lived in Denver) what a typical weekday drone shot would show. This from ColoradoPols.com .... Not all the coronavirus news is bad news, as The Washington Post reports from the state of Washington: The suburban hospital that handled the first onslaught of coronavirus patients weeks ago - a crush of seriously ill and dying nursing home residents that signaled the beginning of the national health crisis - is now offering cautious optimism to people across the United States who are searching for an end to the springtime nightmare: They believe they might have flattened the curve here. At EvergreenHealth Medical Center, two miles from the shuttered Lifecare nursing home where 35 patient deaths were linked to the virus, officials say their rate of new covid-19 cases has remained steady for two weeks, leveling off at a trickle. On some days, doctors here see just one new case and haven’t seen more than four in a single day since mid-March. Few need admission to the intensive care unit, which is now half full, two weeks after overflow necessitated transfers to nearby hospitals… …“It is a glimmer of hope,” Washington Gov. Jay Inslee said. “This is suggestive that some of the things we’re doing together is having some very modest improvement. The things we did two weeks ago are now appearing in our hospitals.” [Pols emphasis]
Looks like something out of a scary, creepy movie. Empty streets, no people and businesses closed. I can picture rolling balls of tumbleweed flying around the empty streets
I never thought I would see a global pandemic in my lifetime, it’s so eerie to see my home city empty, so many people are scared. Anxiety is starting to get bad 😢
Iceland decided to give free testing to anyone who wanted it. Their findings indicate that it will be less impactful than we initially thought. Half of all their positives were asymptomatic.

In 1860, a year after Denver was founded, New York City already had a population of 1,174,779. Many of those people ended up migrating to Denver, along with others from up and down the East Coast, to build this city. When exactly do you propose Denver should have "closed the door" to new migrants? Right after you got here? Right after your parents got here, if you are a "native?" Or are you a descendant of the Arapahoe tribes who camped along Cherry Creek in the 19th century and can actually claim to be a native without being a hypocrite?
The majority of natives don't bitch that much. It's the "I don't have anything to really bitch about, so I'll bitch about..... this". They're everywhere. And I'm native.

Do y'all see how clear the air is with no car driving around?! Its spectacular!!
This is mesmerizing. I've lived in Denver 40 years, six of them in the city center, and I don't remember ever seeing the skies so clear.

Scary music? I love it. This confirms that the air is cleaner than it has been in decades. It is perfect for cycling. I hope it lasts for months.
The sky looks so blue, not the usual 'haze' over Denver.

Not with the Federal Reserve suppressing rates and flooding the economy with trillions of new funny money.
