Morarji Desai was the first chairman of 1st ARC, and ,K Hanumanthaiah became chairman when Desai became deputy prime minister of India. 22:07 in year 2000 , a commission to review the working of constitution was appointed by the government of India under the chairmanship of a retired chief justice of supreme court , justice venkatachaliah. 22:28 Dr. Justice manepalli Narayan Rao venkatachalaiah was the chairman of the national human rights commission from 1996-1998 and 2000. 23:08 lokpal and lokayuktas bill, 2011 was passed by the parliament on December 17, 2013. The bill was introduced in the parliament following massive public protests led by anti corruption crusader Anna Hazare and his associates . The movement was popularly known as Anna andolan.
