    Cute! This inspires me to make my own 😊 for my future reference:
    > 10:13 front panel - 23 rows total. 9 rows of dc (15 st per row including turning ch3 as the first dc). Then inc are all on the same side, and only happen every other row (she skips saying the first time the row count stays stable)
    >17:05 assembly/sewing front panels onto back panel (leave ~6.5 in or 9-11 rows open for arm holes)

    I’ve made three of these lovely sweaters. I made the front like a regular cardigan with two full panels. I’m making one (in almost the same color) for my sister. Thank you! I’ve really enjoyed making them and your tutorial is great!

    Swoon. I just finished this in royal blue and it is beyond adorable!! I love the lacy bell sleeve and the mandala on the back is way hip. The only thing I added was a border around the neckline- just gave it a finished look. Thank you so much for sharing. The video was easy to follow.

      I’m having heaps of problems.. only 7 minutes in!!! 1st - she doesn’t mention some stitches so if your eyes aren’t glued to the screen you could miss it …also why have I ended up with only 3 spaces for the square to start + 15 stitches 🤦‍♀️ I rewatched it so many times. I don’t think I’ll go any further with this video what a waste of my time ….

    I am so confused on the panels. :( I am confused on how to make the 9 rows, do we chain 3 after every row? and also, it looks like you skip the first chain after chaining 3 on the beginning of the rows, but I did that and it was just getting smaller and smaller. I so I tried not skipping one then it went straight, but then once I get to the increase part I am confused because it looks like you put the hook into the first chain which would only make it straight so I am not sure. Need an in depth tut on the panels because I am so excited to make this top!!

    • @Biggestchaph
      @Biggestchaph 6 місяців тому +1

      hiya, the chain 3 at the end of each row is supposed to count as one dc (double crochet) for the next row. Instead of this, I recommend chaining one at the end of your row, turning your work, then dc into that first stitch. That helped me to get the correct # of stitches each row.
      When it comes to the increase, do the same thing as I said above, just put two dc into that first stitch. Hope this helps :))

    Great video! The only problem I have with this is that there aren't clear instructions in between the round where you need to make 24 stitches, I'm constantly having to check the video to see whatever mistakes i am making despite consistently following your instructions, may i ask that the next time you upload a tutorial that there's a stitch count?

  • @cherylingram-williams2355

    • @mareecorradino8052
      @mareecorradino8052 Місяць тому

      depends on: the weight of the yarn, your size, and what kind of yarn. acrylic stretches, so I personally don't like using it for wearables. there are 398 yd and 189 yd skeins, plus many more! so truly all those variables come into play. I'm a small in tops and I made it the same as hers but with cotton. using 189 yd small skeins, I've used either 2-3. I have 1 more for the sleeves so I am hoping that's enough. I would say 4 to be safe, or 2 of the 398 big skeins. For L, XL I am truly not sure as I haven't made that size yet!

    Question: do the front panels of the top need to be made longer if you also made the back panel larger than what was shown in the video ?
    Also, this tutorial is lovely and very simple to follow, thank you !

    • @MindfulKnots
