Taking Back Sunday is my favorite band, I love all their songs I never get tired of listening to them plus Adam Burbank Lazzara♥ is the love of my life!!!
that was a huge rumor that went around. he was dancing around during midtown's set and fell off the stage. they had to drop off this tour bc he disloacted his hip and busted his head open, but they came back at the end of the tour to play the local area shows. this was at birch hill in nj.
yeah, old TBS has such great active or lively songs the new TBs and i mean with fred in it,they sounded a little bit less active, they like cut down half a bit, i hope with their new album and new guitarist, somehow they could bring back the OLD TBS atmosphere
that's the official album lyrical version anyway. on a second listen of this video, adam kinda cuts away after saying 'listen chick' and ad libs something, but that's not uncommon for tbs, pretty much every song of theirs performed live has some lyrical alteration..e.g. click the link to their live acoustic version of you're so last summer to the right. anyway yeah, long live tbs and good luck fred! x :)

maybe on its later years, maybe some tell all your friends albums were edited because fred is already in "you're so last summer", and i guess this is what confuses you? right?
By sound i think he ment what made them stand out. every great band has their unique sound,give u some example's,Pantera,Tool,Rage Against the Machine,Glassjaw,NIN,all these bands have their sound.each Pantera album is different but u can tell its Pantera by listening,that is what makes a great band.TBS lost that after John left,their music became mundane.
p.s. adam broke his hip so they played acoustic shows sitting down or he had a cane for a while. when referring to them bearing with them acoustic/not crazy - "if you feel like talking shit, go home and break your hip then get back with me" p.p.s. it's "trick" trust me

Old TBS! seeing this kinda makes me sad cuz they where gonna be such a great band,john made such great music he was so creative and the songs he made where so original.TBS sucks now without him they sold out and play the worse music ever.

Adam is really pissed off because he can't hear his guitar, you notice him signaling the sound guys to raise the volume, but by the end you can hear it somewhat.
have to disagree the reason they sounded good is cuz of john.they where making alot of money with the album "tell all your friends"so no reason to change the sound,main reason they sound how they do now is cuz john aint writing their music anymore P.S John's new band is signed to a major record label and he makes the most creative not MAINSTREAM music you can make,the label does not pressure him to make crappy emo or whatever the latest mainstream fad is and he makes ton of money for them
Now, Why can't Adam just fucking sing like this now-a-days. Now when he plays , he just puts WAY too much emotion in and the crowd ends up singing most of the lyrics, well he sounds like an idiot. This Album and "Atmosphere" will always live on. Greatest album EVER made, I lvoe you TBS. And Adam...... PLEASE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. :)
