The drama THE SWORD AND THE BROCADE was an excellent production, very beautiful, romantic, engaging and subtle... and a wonderful cast! The main couple Ling Yi and Shiyi were beautiful and had perfect chemistry, so in love.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Shiyi really lucked out when she married Lingyi. Her sisters married some very useless men. I feel bad for them. If they had half of the knowledge that Shiyi has they would know how to manage their family life whenever their husbands screws up. I blame Madame Luo for marrying them to dimwitted husbands. They were the daughters of concubines so she didn't care who she married them off to. Erniang was stuck with her abusive husband for Zhun's sake. The Marquis is so adorable waking up with Shiyi in his arms. The man waited a long time for this moment and he's savoring every minute. When he kissed her forehead, nose and mouth to show her that she wasn't dreaming I was grinning from ear to ear. Their relationship is finally on track. I love that he is always their to help her deal with her family drama. They make a great team. I love seeing him smiling whenever he's in her presence. They're becoming an unstoppable pair. Unfortunately their biggest problem is right under their noses which is the GM/Concubine Wen.
