Clever canopy. When the material wears out it seems like a new one could be sewn about 6" wider on the ends for a bit more shade. If your engine conks out and you don't want to row you can sail down wind with it. Y rig dinghy.
I'd consider finding a suitable bit of material (off cut of a tent fly maybe) and some fittings or ties (string/hooks that attach tent inner to poles) and set up a sidewall , get some extra coverage that way. Likely only usable when static but that might be when it's most needed
Interested in seeing how hard this is to set up while on the water. Would guess it just depends on the wind. On calm hot summer afternoons on a kayak could prevent heat exhaustion so would have to consider it a safety item, worst case, life saving. Worth the money.
Billy, get your money back. Use some heavy walled PVC plastic white pipe and some old bed sheets, you get a lot more shade and better stability and save yourself $150.00
I'd have to call that a fail for the most part although it would provide a little shade for Jets if you two take her along diving one day. I would stick with the traditional bimini design...but thats me.

Billy if the outboard breaks down, you could sail back to the Cat⛵️
Thanks for the video. Maybe a quick follow up on how long it lasts?
Love the Tech talk videos Billy! Keep them coming. How about since you are a kite board instructor a video on the basics of set up and how to?
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. Now that you are back in Florida a discussion in !!!! LIGHTNING PROTECTION !!!!!! would be good

Cool ass dinghy! I bought a brand new cheapy without storage or double hull.
Nice shade for your outboard motor that already got a cover.
Very simple cost effective solution. Thanks. A tech video on what hand held or headlamps lights work the best would be great. Thanks
How did this end up working out in the long run?
How do you store the boat, inflated or not?
No doubt you are the inventor and seller. YIKES. Hard to believe.
where is the shade for $243.
How big is your boat?
Use Carabiners for clips
For a non boater, what is star board? Thank you
It is kind of like pvc board but harder, denser, and more resistant to UV
It looks a bit flimsy in the wind
A couple carabiners instead of those hooks would be better

Beautiful spot! Wow. Any shade is good shade to people like me. Nice job.
Too bad it is so small and does not go all the way to the front.
Was with you right up until you said it was $188
Edit: Its now $226 hahaha
I hope you picked up that dogs droppings lol
