I watched a podcast where an eleven year old girl sang the song let it go. She had a voice like an angel, this beautiful blonde hair child all decked out with a pretty white dress and matching shoes and socks. It was those shoes and socks that caught my eye with all the lacey frills.
Then I remembered a story about a young Palestinian girl around the same age who had just gotten a new pair of pink rollerskates and went outside to play, minutes later the ground shook her father ran out and saw in a pile of concrete rubble just those pink skates.
Her body and face was so badly mangled the pink rollerskates were the only identifiable items, then while I was watching that eleven year old girl sing I thought what if that was her and all that could be seen of her were those pretty shoes and socks that were sticking out of the rubble. The horror her parents would have to go through.
The young girl singing looked like my own daughter around the same age when she was younger and that's when it hit me and I was feeling the same horror that Palestinian father experienced "what if it was my own". In that split moment I was Palestinian.
I only had to experience this for a moment in time could imagine if you had to relived this day after day...

Professor Marandi is quite right. I'm a New Zealander and am embarrassed by and ashamed of my government. The WEst has revealed that all its supposed cherished values are completely empty. There is talk of human rights and democracy but this is bereft of all sincerity. Their actions speak for themselves. As Ghandi said when asked what he thought about Western Civlization, 'I think it would be a good idea'

I am from Balkan Peninsula, and we have been manipulated, divided and enslaved by Western false promises of democracy and freedom. Many people don’t see how western values don’t work longterm and are not sustainable.
Western values, if properly done, is certainly worthy of emulation. But certainly not the bastardized version that we see being deployed everywhere, coupled with a corrupt and compliant mainstream media that amplify this bastardized narrative, and function as the mouthpieces of the security agencies.

I don't think that's entirely true. Personally I think iran has been advised to hold back. The BRICS summit next month is so important for all countries involved, and the West will try every trick in the book to sabotage it. I'm quite sure the leaderships of Russia, China etc are well aware of these threats.
Which country or countries offer the best deal? BRICS will predominate because it will offer the Global South a better deal.

I just got word that the Israelis had a very bad first attempt to enter Lebanon. It seems that facing a professional army face to face is no walk in the park.
Israel is claiming that the ground actions are just "raids". I strongly suspect that these "raids" by Israeli ground forces are most likely "shaping exercises" to better position the Israeli forces in preparation for a major offensive into S. Lebanon. It makes no sense for Israel to just conduct a "raid" into Lebanon and to then retreat back to Israeli lines, as Israel feels the need to push Hezbollah north of the Litani River (about 18 miles north of the Israeli border with Lebanon). Raids will not achieve this goal, only a concerted ground invasion into S. Lebanon has a chance of achieving this.

All I could think the whole time is that Iran has far too much at stake to match Israel in its pathetic, desperate posture as some playground bully. Iran didnt arrive at this place where they’re joining BRICS and the Shanghai cooperation organization because it is a politically incontinent entity like Israel. That's green screen ghetto art, bro... according to the ganstas that tagged the places around where I lived in the South Bronx too, where my divorce graciously had me leaving and moving back to Queens NYC, where I could see white ppl again. I never realized how long (I lived in the Bronx as a FDNY Haz-Tac Paramedic with my family for a decade or so) I never saw a white person until I was the tech in the ambulance riding around in Queens and I saw white ppl again. I exclaimed, "I see white ppl!" and even my black coworker laughed... after I explained to him why I said it of course.
