Three years on, this video continues to be a magnificent showcase of the Casio CT-X3000's capabilities, especially in the hands of such a skilled professional. Their talent really brings out the best in the instrument. Truly wonderful! I bought one because of this channel CT-X3000 videos! @CASIOMusicGlobal
This video convinced me to finally get one, Not only does it have the best sounding grand piano tones Ive ever heard on a sub $500 keyboard but its other voices are superb!!!!
I love the tones you have selected and demonstrating they are so,so good. I can’t believe this keyboard is only £279.00, the sounds you can select and hear on this keyboard are far more professionally sounding in stereo than people think. Casio has certainly outclassed the equivalent Yamaha keyboard range by miles.
I just purchased this keyboard recently and it's amazing to say the least (pictured to the left in my profile). I do recommend a booster amp between the keyboard headphone/line out and computer audio in. Otherwise it's just awesome.

I was hesitating between the Yamaha PSR E373 and the casio CT-X3000 orCT-X5000 but the vintage synth sounds convinced me, I'm sure it would be perfect for vitange stuff like Lesiman. Also, The tenor sax of the Casio seems realistic enough to play something like Piero Umiliani, Ricordandoti. What is the last piece you play in your video from ?
Nerdy retro question... If I wanted to hook this up as a MIDI device for old MS-DOS games, which cables would I need to get it to work? I guarantee you I have all the cables, including a Roland UM-One MKII I used before, but every other keyboard I use had the standard full sized MIDI ports. Is there a different daisy-chain I need to do with the USB to host port? I don't care if the old General MIDI music sounds terrible on this modern keyboard, I just want to try this for fun. I can always break out the Yamaha PSR-540 if I wanted to guarantee Duke Nukem 3D would sound good. XD

in terms of sound engine and function, do they have the same feature as the ct-x 5000? example editing tones and layering with octave shift? I'm planning to buy ct-x 5000 but if they are just the same in sounds, I would go to ct-x 3000 cause cheaper than ct-x 5000..
If you didn't recognize any of the synth notes, you either have a stick ear or you haven't really lived. "Just Can't Get Enough" has already been heard in several other demo videos on UA-cam.

Thank you! It is not difficult to use, it only has many functions and needs to be thoroughly known because there are so many options to set up. Which is pretty surprising compared to the price.

Yes, it's all ctx's own sounds. :)
Yeah, casio's good at pokey, synth sounds, but can't compare to same priced yamaha's for real musical instrument sounds :)

Maybe he is using imported samples. I don´t know. I tried as well and couldn´t get these sounds.

The CT-X5000 is even better (better speakers, more memory banks and a modulation button over the pitch bend wheel).

what program do you use to record for CT-X3000? Also, can you use CT-X3000 on fl studio?
I use simply an external audio recorder. Line out - - - Recorder Line in

Yes, this is the original sound, just added the dsp delay effects and I used an external "zoom" Audiorecorder.
