Hello i am wondering if you have had any problems with the metal parts you put i just got metal arms and hubs because well they are the upgrade parts right? I am having a hard time believing that metal parts is a bad idea. Can anyone with this rc car let me know? Btw i only drive up and down my street and might do some light offroading and i tend not to abuse or drive too hard on my stuff i try to take good care of my stuff if all goes well i will eventually put mostly metal parts because it will look badass and maybe sound better? Sorry for length of my comment just a littled concern because i paid a lot for my mstal parts only to hear that metal is no good mostly will be my baby regardless of it ends up on a shelf.

I just came here to figure out what size tires ol boy has lol but i hope this helps.......I had a remo smax v1 and learned a few things along the way after it broke within a couple weeks and now I have a remo smax 1/16 scale v2 with the red aluminum upgrade kit for mine and have been beating the heck out of it for over a week now so if all your doing is running it back and forth down the road and maybe a lil light bashing id say youre good. I jump mine about 2 ish feet off the ground flip it do dounts and havent had any issues with breaking but one and that was the screws that hold the aluminum shock mount from it landing hard on the bodys shell and thats only because I have a remo v2 and the aluminum shock mounts you can get are for the v1 however theres a fix for that with a 3d printed part. 6 very important things to know. 1... if you went all aluminum and get shocks dont forget to get 3 sets of 1/16 scale adjustable steering links your changing the geometry of the truck and the way it sits plus you can adjust your tow which is nice and I wouldnt go any bigger than 86mm shocks. 2...locktight and super glue locktight blue the krap out of any aluminum parts and and couple dabs of super on any plastic screw holes the aluminum parts tend to back screws out and it isnt fun having to buy a hole new set because they are a different thred than the plastic parts. 3....get the shock mount bracket part it helps a very weak point of the truck you need 2 heres where you get the print just have a company print it for you should be less than $20 www.thingiverse.com/thing:4737811 ...4 go get some light grease and grease your diffs and motor they may say ready to run but would you run your car without rear diff fluid and let metal on metal or plastic on plastic grind itself away and dry lube for the bearings and where the dogbones insert. 5...
