The Tom Green Show - Bread Head

- Here is something that has never aired. I have been digging in the vaults and found some old segment tapes. These are tapes of old episodes before they are mixed for audio etc... This is a longer version of the original video before it aired. It does not have the sound of the studio audience mixed in, so it is clean of laugh track audio etc... I have a tape storage facility where I have been storing hundreds of pieces of raw footage from over the years of shooting. Stay tuned here to this UA-cam channel and watch for new classic bits of unseen material being posted every day. And tell your pals to SUBSCRIBE to this channel today.

the fact that he got the bakery worker to tape it to his head makes this that much more funny
It's just good customer service lol
He was one of the first to do it, before UA-cam...
What I love about this bit
Tom is able to be severely awkward without being upsetting or intimidating to people
He doesn’t say a word
Makes two pieces of bread hilarious
It’s so simple
Anyone can try to be smart about humor... but just a selected bunch of individuals can make simple stuff funny as hell.
That requires real talent, skills and randomness that isn't forced. Tom Green is a really underrated comedic genius.
I love how back then everyone wasn't pulling out cell phones to record every weird/cool thing they encountered. You just experienced things and remembered them yourself; or you'd forget them. If you took a picture/video back then it was because it was a special enough of an event that you thought beforehand to bring a camera.
If Tom did this today there would be people with cell phones following him around and it wouldn't work as well.
I noticed that at parties. When I was in high school everyone just had fun. In college that is when camera phones were super popular. Parties became a bunch of people filming a few people partying.
@@zeaferjones1404 so pathetic n sad 😔
Eric Andre seems to pull it off
Cell phones with cameras hadn't been around yet.
One of the greatest characters in television history: Bread Head.
Tom Green was a Bread head before Tim and Eric.
That must be some really good tape.
Too funny! I had no idea who Tom Green was until one day back in '90s, I was eating dinner at the Old Fish Market restaurant and a guy with baguettes on his head appeared outside the window we were seated at. If I recall correctly he was taped up on a lamp post. It made for VERY interesting dinner entertainment.
Lucky you
something so simple is utterly hilarious .
Yeah!
i lost it when he started clapping hahaha
Tom Green you are an inspiration, don't stop changing lives my friend the world needs people like you
The Curtis Mayfield instrumental makes this hilarious
Freddie’s bread is on his head...that’s what I said.
@@justacup8676 wow hahaha
Tom, your presence on TV is missed. You were truly an original. Hope you feel like the legend you are.
Master of the Crowd. I think this is performance art at its best.
Sidenote: This video made me realize how much more connected we were as a society. It seemed everyone was more connected to the person they were standing next to, something you don't too much of anymore. When you see people out now, most people are on a device.
Sidenote 2:
I'm sitting with my family at a restaurant.
Guess what..: the guy with the bread glued to his head now lives in a beautiful house in L.A.
He also married Drew Barrymore back when she was still a hottie. (She is still pretty but older and wiser now) True story!😲
He sold the house in LA and moved back to his home to Canada
i would like to see tom green do pranks in public again, you look alot different now, people probably woudnt recognise you, please the world needs tom in its face again!!!!.
These days are much different than the 90’s.
It was a time and a place, you couldn't do this now .
Plus people would just be recording it on cell phones instead of reacting .
That area is now ....not full of nice people anymore I'll leave it there.
Such a simple skit but sooooo funny! lmao YOU ROCK TOM!!!
new batman looks great
Masterpiece
I got bread on my head but don't call me a breadhead.
the artist formally known as craig lastname its my show im andy millona... i mean tom green
bread head pretty much just loafs around outside the house of cheeses leering at people
the house of cheese sounds like a store that tom green would open up
0:55 lady gives him change hahah
Little does she know she is only feeding his bread habit :)
This made me laugh so much that it made me cry!
Same just now lol 😂😭
I remember watching this when it first aired. F...ing Classic!
More T.Green, Mystery Science 3K and of course, G Carlin.
So simple it's genius.
the time will come when Tom Green rises against evil
nothing like the good old days, tom greene to lighten up your day, man he was awesome
If a strange bread head came up to me and stared in my face I'd be extremely uncomfortable
Love the end of
"Do you want to acknowledge the fact the tape is on your hair". something I was thinking about the whole time
See kids, this is what trolling looked like in the 90's.
This video feels like an old VHS that you found in the attic by mistake
Tom does not get the credit he deserves comedic genius!
The double clapping is what really did it for me
This will never be recreated. Tom was the perfect person for it and did it perfectly.
I miss when nobody was looking at their cellphone and not everyone had a video camera in their pocket.
This has Always been my favorite sketch from The Tom Green Show! I also like the sketch Bingo Was His Name O alot!
Watch bum leg
Pure gold, Tom at it's best!
haha, who knew taping bread to your head could be so funny!
The constantly skipping beat fits so perfectly with this video...!
Classic Tom Green! Why it didn't air?..Who knows? Keep digging my friend! I'll never get enough of you!
He will go down in history as the greatest performance artist ever
Tom Green is a true artist!
my left ear enjoyed the music LOL
tom green: tapes a baguette to his head
generation z: omg tom green is literally the god of all comedy ever and influenced everything
Just to clarify, I love tom
LMAO!!! That one lady thought he was a change beggar. 😆
This is art at its finest. Tom green is a true legend.
What he needs to do now is put on a cape, stand in front of a crowd of people, and shout "Bow before me! You were made to be ruled!" ;)
i was born in march of 98 i cant believe i mised the last of the legit years on earth when not all people were fake as shit!!
Wish this show never got axed
Lady at 1:37 was beauty, I miss that 90's look.
The clapping was funny but hand in the pockets chewing gum is perfect
Wow! what long breads! great work Tom!
That's some good tape.
Tom Green could make a hat out of anything.
Coming up with these ideas, these skits..... so original and out there. That's what makes them so funny, to me.
it's interesting how if he didn't have that bread on his head and did this, people would be disturbed (rightfully so), however this way they don't consider him a threat because of how he looks, but his face is dead serious so everyone is geninely confused about what's going on..... such a great, harmless gag...
Sitting here laughing to myself none stop throughout the whole thing!
the true inventor of trololol
I saw this on the Early Exposure VHS lol. Love it!
I like how everyone was really chill about it. Most found it entertaining or just walked by.
Oh my god, this is a new favourite.
Lol Bread Head walked past House of Cheese
i wanted that girl to lean in and take a bite of bread so bad LMAO
yeah that clapping gets me all the time
left ear for music. right ear for aduio
Lol he took the change.
Oh that classic tune that is in so many skits..
'Bread head' with hand clapping was the high point.
This new joker has an edgy look.
I hope you upload some of the stuff in the Rogers studios, like Pizza Stick, & the prank phone calls.
Classic.
loving the background loop
Master of the craft! You'd never forget seeing ol' bread head, would you? He just shook shit up for so many people in this clip with two things of bread and some tape. Absolutely wild how much of Tom is copy pasta'd throughout hit TV shows, film and current comedians.
Looking at MTV today I can only think to myself, "This Sucks."
It's just an unbelievable sexual journey to watch Bread perform
Awesome! Thanks Tom
I imagine every stoner back in the 90s that was watching this were either laughing their heads off, or in a dazed confusion.
Never gets old lol
One of the finest things ever.
Bread on head can be surprisingly funny. I got good laugh.
Classic! Some people here don't get this, You would have to understand the culture there at the time--- You did NOT make a public spectacle of yourself, But Tom did so everywhere he went.
This sketch is unforgettable. It's how an alien would act trying to interact with humans, trying different things but being way off to what is normal behavior. Like wearing bread antennas would be a honest mistake for an alien that doesn't know anything about human clothing.
Only Tom Green could take something so simple and make it so funny!!! #YourWaq
I got it. We’re gonna tape bread to my head.
genius. i’ll get the camera!
😆
One of my favorites!
Classic Tom Green!
hey, people were wearing bread helmets like this last year during the protests in egypt... tom is set another trend here, years and years before anyone else! hahaha
Yeah I enjoy all of these vids your posting! You introducing the clips is a great idea and would make them that much better =]
Not sure why but this one and the mattress one are my favorites
One of the funniest I've seen Tom thanks for posting lmfao
the music is what makes this video so funny
classic luv it ...
pure genius
one of my favs
Chewing the gum made this even funnier lol
Good ole Rogers 22 back in the day. Please upload cow brain boat! It was awesome. Also the vacuum cleaner shark episode. My folks were at the end of that segment on bicycles while chillin at Andrew Haydon park
They're possibly the biggest pockets on a jacket I've ever seen
This was inspiration for the 'idiot sandwich' lets be real tom was sooo ahead of his time. Troll before trolling 🤣
That's actually quite clever - YEAH!!! :)
i think olive oil or vegetable oil helps relax the glues often used in tapes if you get some in your hair.
CLASSIC!
This is surprisingly wholesome :)
