Hello Dipesh! Bloodworms are a "snack" but should never comprise the diet in its entirety. In addition, I tend to prefer frozen over live simply to avoid any sort of disease or infection that the bloodworms may carry.

It is true that flowerhorns are the result of selective breeding and crossbreeding of species that typically wouldn't in nature but they can now be found in nature (due to illegal release) and are not only thriving, but breeding as well. There are several articles regarding this topic, if you are interested look up cases on government websites in florida!
