Another Power and a Hideout? - Starfield 165

- Our time at the Red Mile is over for now and it's time to go look for some more powers! After a quick trip to sell off our ill-gotten gains, we head to Procyon III for another power but also find an interesting looking spot of the map which is just begging to be explored.

I like it, it's your experience and we're tagging along. I sometimes will start gathering, eventually scanning everything on a planet in the same time and sell that to Vladimir. Other times I will be in a hurry to mod a certain suit or weapon and then go on a shopping spree on New Atlantis, Akila City or Neon to buy resources from vendors. As I said like it, in for a penny in for a pound! Very entertaining...
Aww glad you liked it! I'm trying not to get too distracted with resource gathering but sometimes it's hard to resist!
If you research manufacturing, you can make things like mag pressure tanks that you need for other crafting. I like watching you craft and collect resources. My husband and I had our PCs side by side, I did all the neardy research and he was great at combat and tactics. I miss sharing information like that.
Now that is handy to know! I will have to start doing more research as it is actually quite fun! I think outposts are next on the agenda so that'll be a whole other rabbit hole to fall down!
There are a lot of mods out that changes the starborn ship and some even let you take it apart and build it the way you want to. One such mod is the TN's Class M (and Starborn Guardian) Ship Building by TheOGTennessee. You might want to also check out the two mods Tower Hab and Outpost Water Tower+ both by Betamax76. The mod creator is turning POIs into prefab placeables both for Xbox and PC. They are also working on bringing out many more pois.
I've not really done any modding so I'm a little hesitant as I don't want to mess up my game. I've had a look at some of the ones on the Creations section and they look good so might delve into those first, see how it works.
@@ChillyBeeGaming You will be fine. I have been moding bethesda games since 2011. I moded skyrim then fallout 4 and now starfield. No one taught me but I had to teach myself. At first it may seem hard to understand but once you get a good idea of where certain mods go by understanding the basics of what the mod does, you can then mod games in your sleep. Even if you mess up you learn from it. But the great thing is, if a mod messes up all you have to do is remove the mods and start over while deleting all saves. After that you have a clean slate to work with again. Also only having up to 5 mods will do nothing to the game. Its only when you get into 10 or more is when it starts to become more complex. That is when you should type all the mods out on a word program first while you organize and place them where they go in a test load order before installing them. I also will not suggest mods to others until I have used and tested them first. Even more so if they are new to modding.
I don't own starborn but i do think it and frontier are one you can't sell.
It's a shame really. I think they could've added in a feature to allow you to change the colour, upgrade engines or weapons or upgrade the storage etc. Just a bit disappointing but nevermind
@@ChillyBeeGaming Starborn meant to the best ship but fact as you said you can't change colour or add more storage isn't great.
Mind you i don't like the look of it after seeing it in videos.
It is very War of the World's I think, the saucer part at the front of it anyway. I might see if anyone's made a mod for it coz it's lacking on a fair few things I think
