Pam, have you ever put red grapes 🍇 in your chicken salad (could use white ones instead)? Also, a couple of handfuls of pecans. Very good.😋

I admire your tenacity fighting the elements to prepare meals. You must be exhausted by the time you get home! I appreciate the information gained through 'trial by fire'.

Dehydrated green onions rehydrate way better than freeze dried in my opinion. That chicken looks awesome! There should be a bit of char on a bbqed chicken.

I know for myself I would have still eaten the burned skin lol. Cuz it would still have the barbecue taste and some charr-ed taste but it would still be good. lol

Does the grill on the ground behind the table work well?

It looks good but it seems like too much work. Cooking that chicken would be be difficult for me.

I usually just buy one from Costco but wanted to try out our Cobb grill.

We also bring along a qt of canned beef stew and serve it with roasted potatoes! The chicken looks great. How do you power the Cobb rotisserie?

Everything looked delicious. I'm getting ready to make some chicken soup to can, using chicken that I got on sale and broth made from it.

Just a suggestion, I’m pretty good with my bbq techniques. Bbq sauce has sugar in it so it burns. Only apply it when the bird is done. It will tack up and get caramelized quickly. I haven’t finished the video yet so maybe you figured that out. Also an open vent makes the fire hotter. Closed the heat gets less intense.

If you have a Dollar Tree, they have some plastic clamps on the "hardware area" that would work as tablecloth holders. 2/$1
    25.

Meals looked delicious! When I used to camp there were aluminum clips that would hold our picnic table cover in place. They will solve your wind problem. Probably camping stores have them or online. Val C

That chicken looks delish!! I remember my dad having fits when trussing chicken. He decided that instead of trussing the chicken he would use what I referred to as a cage. And yes, this was an attachment that was part of the Barbeque grill back in the 60’s. Maybe the Cobb will create an accessory similar to it?

I was just going to ask what the petroleum jelly was for. Then, Pam explained the petroleum product burning up. Now, I feel silly for not thinking about that. 😂☺️
Thank you for such an educational channel!

Great video and meals. I don't know if it's possible, depending on the thickness of the picnic table, you can use the inexpensive spring clamps to hold down the table cloth. It works for us on windy days. 😊

All three meals look very yummy. Going camping first week of June, I love variety of foods while camping, we have 25’ travel trailer.
I’m going back thru your pass videos searching for other ideas. I tend to use same old meals, “boring”
