I have a crimson breast green cheek and her name is mango . Her wing feathers are not solid green like your birds, she has a black edge to each feather . The place were she was born did a board and care for me and said it was an anomaly and may go way after awhile but may not. He has only seen that a few times in the forty years of breeding. Mango is only 10 months old. She acts like she owns the house. We all love her so much.
I have green cheek conure, i was hand feeding him until he was 65 days, after stoping hand feeding he starts to eat by his own, but he dont eat well and he became thin and you can feel his chest bones and his tail bones. I feed him sun flower ceeds, apples, wheat, carrot . Can any one help me.
Get some Zupreem for kids, not sure what size your baby is now but you can never go wrong with Zupreem brand food. If it doesn't help right away take to an avian vet. If your baby is that thin you don't have a lot of time.
Hey! i have a question i assume u might know...i have a Meyers Parrot and im gonna buy him a friend, but question is..do i have to buy same kind of parrot? or can i buy a Caique? or does it need to be a Meyer?
If you take it out a lot it will get used to you, give it time. Get it used to you, maybe give it treats (when the treats are in your hand) and slowly get near it more and more. I don't have one though so you can probably get more advice from conure owners. Also, each conure is a bit different. I.e. sun conures are really loud lol so maybe ye should specify which type it is
that's ironic, that one of the bird's names is maxi, because my dog's name is maxi! she's the reason i can't have a bird though... i'm not a big fan of dogs. i love these little birdies!
