Merry Christmas and Thank you for sharing your advent with us, joy, grief, inspiration, that's life. Thank you for sharing your Mothers life and transition, Its hard to "loose" your Mother no matter what age you are. She is still with you in heart and Spirit watching over you as you conntinue walking your path on earth 😘 I've been casting on my PLC cardigan, so enjoyable 🙏. I live in Tønsberg, Norway ( Southeast by the Coast) and my ONE must have for christmas ( we celebrate 24.) is " pinnekjøtt" for dinner. Its hard to explain but Its dried rib of lamb, a very traditional christmas dinner from my Mothers family from the westcoast of Norway / Bergen. I'm so grateful for all that you share here on UA-cam Pia, your joy inspiration and calming caring voice brings me so much joy and comfort.😘🙏💃Take care😘
Thank you Pia for the wonderful vlogmasses. They have been such a great source for inspiration. It has been so nice to see your and your family's way of honoring your loved one, that has passed away, but also the joy you bring into the christmas traditions. Thank you!
🌲🥀Merry Christmas Pia and Peter. Thank you for sharing all the good experiences and thoughts with us. Meditation via knitting, I often end it with before I go to bed. A special Christmas carol for us is to end with Kringsat af fjender. ♥
Pia and Peter, Have a blessed Christmas full of Peace, Love and Happiness ❤❤❤ thanks for sharing your traditions during this wonderful time of the year ❤️❤️❤️ sending a big hug your way … it is always hard the first Christmas after losing a loved one…. Sending a lot of prayers your way …. My family’s tradition is to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas leading to Epiphany🎉
Thank you Pia for another lovely Vlogmas. I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother this past year. It really changes the feel of the holidays…. Peter’s sweater is coming along nicely and I look forward to seeing your sweater surgery and finishing it up.
Happy Christmas! It has been the high point of each day to spend some time with you. Have a blessed time with your family in the States. Looking forward to another year of knitting and fellowship.
Thank you Pia for your Vlogmas, I have enjoyed watching you while I’m recovering from foot surgery. Love your crochet blanket, it’s absolutely beautiful. 💗
Thank you for doing Vlogmas again this year. Your podcast is the only Vlogmas that I make sure to watch every day. I am from Vancouver, Canada and Christmas for us is very much a time to spend with family. I am working on the Terracotta Sweater.
Merry Christmas from Cologne, Germany. Thank you so much for your vlogmas. It was one of the quiet highlights of my December days. As last year I totally enjoyed spending time with you...and I hope this also will be next year, as it kind of got my new Christmas tradition. Otherwise we are celebrating on Christmas day always with one half of the family plus our son. They come visit us, I cook some delicious deer gulasch with red cabbage and "Spätzle" (a south german kind of egg pasta). I beforehand bake a family recipe of a "Stollen" to go with the coffee and we chat and laugh until it becomes really late. Today will be all quiet, just my husband and I, having a walk if, like today, sun is shining...watching a movie , eating the left overs of yesterdays meal and me deep diving into my Christmas-cast-on. This year I had a Birthday cast-on in November which then just had to hibernate and got neglected until today. So I kind of connected Birthday and Christmas this year and will continue working on this project today. Again: Thank you, say hello to everyone and have a safe trip over to Texas. All my best wishes to you and your dear ones for a glorious year 2025. Cheers, Silke
Merry Christmas to you and Peter. Thank you so much Pia for doing this podcast all year long. It is always so inspiring. Your dress is so beautiful you look so festive! I celebrated Christmas at my parents together with my brother and his family and friends. We had delicious Raclette and did secret Santa which was so much fun. This year we have snow which made it like a fairy tale 💫☃️ best wishes from Austria from Manuela 🧡
Thankyou for the lovely vlogmas episodes . Grief is horrid and has to be worked through and the first christmas after loosing someone special is so very hard. Enjoy the family you have got and I recognise the poem you read at your mum's grave , i know it well . I have many traditions and customs at christmas time but one about the food is always carving the meat up on Boxing day (immediately after main christmas day meal in UK) and we have a cold buffet often that day. Then next I make turkey and ham pie and then use the remainder of the turkey for the beginnings of the turkey soup which is often frozen for a later date . One large turkey but every bit is used and enjoyed! I love to keep the same traditions from year to year .
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! I’m so thankful to be able to celebrate Christmas with my family in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, again this year. Our traditions include Christmas Eve Mass and spending Christmas Eve with my side of the family. This year was especially wonderful, as our Dad finished chemotherapy in late November and is regaining his strength and energy each day. The past few months have been pretty scary when we saw how the cancer and chemotherapy was attacking our Dad, who was always so strong for most of our lives. Praise God, he is a fighter and my Mom is fighting alongside him to get better and keep his sense of humor and deep faith. Each day is truly a gift to be treasured. Thank you for sharing your little drops of wonderful and reminding us of the importance of traditions.❤
Happy Holidays from Alabama, Pia and Peter! I’ve really enjoyed your vlogmas once again and look forward to next year 💜 It has been a refreshingly calm feeling to what can very easily become a stressful time of the year. Thank you for sharing with us. Safe travels over the New Year
Merry Cristmas Pia to you and your family! Short story long, my partner is from the UK and I am from Slovakia and we live and celebrate Christmas in Finland. So it is a mix of traditions for both of us but we have a lot of fun. 24th Dec we have a traditionally fish and potato salad and 25th we have to have rosted turkey and as a desert plum pudding with custard. And always watching some nice Cristmas film. I hope you will have a nice rest of your holidays! Keep knitting! I love your podcasts Pia! I always watch them while I am knitting. ❤
Merry Christmas from the Central Coast of California, USA. Today's weather will be close to 70 F, not a day for heavy sweaters. We will share a simple dinner with relatives who are close enough to attend. It's all about sharing and family. Following your Christmas blog has been a joy this year. Best wishes for today and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for an amazing Vlogmas. Your artistic talent, deep insights and passion for your family and traditions has been heart warming. Sending love from Paternoster a small fishing village in the West coast of South Africa . We are Jewish and love watching your traditions . We celebrate Hanukkah this year . A celebration of light . See you in 2025 xx

Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family, Pia! Peter is so tall. Lol. I understand your grief having lost both my parents, two siblings and a great nephew. Sending love! Pia you have been such an inspiration to me over here in Leeds UK. I enjoyed spending my first vlogmas with you and Peter, hopefully there will be many more. I did intent my Christmas cast on to be fingerless gloves too, but then my daughter's partner told me on Christmas day that she had accidently shrunk her beloved Bandana Cowl so that's what's on my needles now ! x
Such a nice vlogmas series. Spending a very quiet Christmas these days. When I was a child we had a Norwegian/Danish celebration. I grew up in Norway with a Danish mother. Sometimes we went to Copenhagen to my grandparents. When I was married it was a Swedish/English Christmas. I live by the Baltic sea now. My niese invited me to come to Norway but I didn't trust myself to drive the 800 km. But I have my lovely Spanish Waterdog and some dear friends. Everything is good ❤ Will finish some ufo's before new year.
Merry Christmas 🎄 I’m celebrating in Massachusetts with my family. It’s a great time for us to get together and spend some quality time together. Your dinner sounds delicious! I would like your pickled dishes. I’m hoping to do a Christmas cast on , probably the daily sweater from purl so ho. Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway. Enjoy your day!

They are always with us and Christmas brings back many memories. I appreciate you and all you do for your viewers. Have a Happy New Year!
A very merry Christmas to you and your family dear Pia…we lost my Dad on this 2nd Xmas day last year so Christmas last year was very different as he was very sick and we knew what was coming.
