They NEED to fix magic chests! I have a 160x160 base and I can’t craft anything because my NPCs aren’t all in one area. I like to have my NPCs house spread out and the magic chests only have like a 120x120 area. It makes no sense. I really hope they fix this asap. My main storage is on one side of my base and it isn’t allowing me to pull stuff to craft from the other side of my base. Kind of frustrating….
Just seeing this now. I hope they do find a way to add water. I saw a comment saying "duhh they can't do it cuz voxel" yeah I get that it's hard, but I would still love to see it. I'm not expecting Valheim scale massive oceans. I would just like to see some streams and rivers and maybe some small lakes. Part of the reason I would like water is for building/creativity purposes. Right now I'm working on a wood/stone tavern base and I would love to be able to have like a hot spring or a small body of water I could build it or future bases near. I don't think having a few fixed small bodies of water would be too much to ask. Hopefully some day.
-It would be nice if they could figure out a way to replace that f*%^ing red stuff with water after maybe we've cleared or discovered a % of the area or something like that. Replacing the red stuff with water seems like the easiest way to add water to the game. -We need armor/weapon/shield stands. -TRANSMOG. -For a base building game, 8 Flame Altars is extremely limiting. That number should be 50. Or 750. In Valheim, bases get build all over the place. That's how you make a world feel alive. -We need RED glowing blocks. We have normal yellow torchlight, blue, white, and green blocks. I would love to see more colors than those, too. Purple, pink... -All enemies need to scale to our level. Chests, too. -We need the ability to NAME our map pins! I shouldn't have to write stuff down in a notebook. More pins, too. -All weapons should be available in all rarities and levels, I want a level 25 Legendary Acid Cleaver! -Something that would make the devs absolute heroes is if they themselves contributed to the wiki. There just isn't great info, most pics are 128x128, and it's frustrating to have to search all day to see what all armor sets look like. -If they don't implement radius-based loot pickup, at least give loot a twinkle, a glow, or a beam. -I guess the game uses a custom engine, making modding difficult. I bet there are modders chomping at the bit to get lessons on how to mod. Skyrim got 87 new mods TODAY on Nexus.

Realistic water anyway. My biggest complaint with the game is that after chopping shroud roots and cleaning out wells the shroud isn't receding. So what's the point?
Well i grew up with old school games. The kiddies these days can’t handle true grind. Anyone who says enshrouded is grindy obviously have not played truly grindy games.

@@donmiller2908 well actually chief I have 2 UA-cam channels and work a part time job also, so I work about 60 hours or more a week and use every small time saving measure possible, not all of us out in the world have 20 hours a week to waste trolling for spelling mistakes and highlighting them only thus invalidating the initial point made. Would love round blocks! I'd only want base attacks if there was an option to turn them off. I get attacked everywhere. It's nice having one game that I can just build and be ok when I'm at home.
I recommend to watch some videos on UA-cam about voxel worlds in games. Adding water IS POSSIBLE (Minecraft as example, this game is based on voxel world too) but adding it in this particular game might hit (and it will) performance really hard due to its specific graphics. It's a very complex feature. :)
@@ATIHO98 hmm I wonder if they could make certain locations that aren't modifiable aka can't edit the terrain near them? Say have a lake or river that you can't edit the ground around the water, etc.
I don't think climbing will be ever featured in this particular game. That's cuz with climbing feature all tombs and riddles in there will be doomed. Hook will not be needed as well, same as ladders or that metal grid that's attached to the walls.
We should have to use the oven to make the bread used for Wraps. Instead of needing just flour, it would make the oven useful and the recipe not more costy.
Loving this game, playing solo right now but also play co-op with my buddy - I think it's fairly challenging solo but recognize there needs to be a difficulty setting for the hardcore players. I also love the mats grind and building aspects - it's everything I want in a game but... the lack of other NPC's for your bases? Why bother trying to re-start the world when there are no people? Is Emily (who likes women) expected to become the town tramp?
Something else that irritates me is that after you chop down the shroud roots and clear the elixir wells, the shroud doesn't recede. So what's the point in doing the clearing? It's explained right in the intro that you're there to remove the shroud and revitalize the land, to restart the world, but there is no sense of anything being accomplished.
sooooo nothing on the wonky two-handed game play? or the fact that jump attacks don't hit enemies in the air, despite looking like they should? or the broken poise system?
Loved the game but one thing i hope the game changes is the availability of higher end loot. I found it WAAAAAAY too easy to find and get. A bit of grind is not a bad thing. So i guess if i were to help change the game i would tell them to change the pacing of progression. Slow it down a bit.

I have 2000+ hours invested in Valheim and I'm told Ashlands is coming soon. I love that game. I prefer building in Enshrouded over Valheim though because you aren't limited by real world physics. Some things I've built in Enshrouded would be impossible in Valheim. Other than that it's Valheim for the win.
I quit because I got annoyed by having to farm mats to make a tool thant needed another tool that needed more mats and then again more tools to make more tools and spend hardly anytime playing the game and doing quests that were not tool and mats related...just so annoyingly lame and BORING.
I can completely understand your frustration. I'm the same way. If I want mindless grind I can always just go to work. Game are what I do to relax and escape from work.
I like this game, even if I have to go get stuff to make stuff. In real life, it isn't as easy to get what you want or need, this game it is easy, then you get rewarded with making awesome stuff. The need to do the missions in order get access to better mats is my issue, sure I like combat stuff, but some of these areas are really rough and annoying to get through. However, I won't stop playing this, I'm just taking my time, not in a hurry to get through the story and get to all the different areas, I am still trying to find a spot to build the ultimate base and tower at the highest point in map and reach as high as I can.
@@brandonsheffield9873 I built my base over a chasm that is shroud filled. I wanted a base that was free floating in case the developers later decided to have raids against bases. By building where the inhabitants cannot reach you and is accessed only by fast travel I eliminated that.
I mean... this is literally any RPG or open world game ever in existence. Really just about any game in existence that isn't a PvP game. You are farming resources to progress further so you can farm newer/higher tier resources so you can survive or access new zones and rinse repeat. That's the fun of these games. "Spend hardly any time playing the game" my man, THAT is the game. Going to do quests, unlocking new tools and upgrades while fighting mobs or mini bosses, collecting resources to upgrade more, etc. That is what the game is about. It's a survival crafting game. If you don't like that then these types of survival crafting games aren't for you.
@@donmiller2908 99% of video games are grinds. You'll be hard pressed to find a game that doesn't have a gameplay loop to it that you grind for rewards or progression. The kicker is to find games with gameplay loops that you enjoy so that the loop doesn't feel apparent to you while you are playing. For me I love these types of games. It's fun to explore, collect resources, build new tools and weapons, go out and fight mobs, upgrade stuff, unlock skills, and rinse and repeat. If the game's world is pretty and I enjoy the visual style of it then I easily get sucked into these kinds of games. It's not like this game hides what it is about. It's a survival crafting RPG open world game. You explore, collect resources, make basic gear, fight enemies, get loot, upgrade, go explore new places, and the cycle repeats.

They still plan to add water. It is complex and will take longer to figure out but they have specifically said that they are working on it. =)

They need more weapons... There are just the same base weapons that vary in level.
Look at the game BOUNDLESS. It has all the things and it's an MMO with an economy. It's cross platform on PC and PS4/5

It's explained right in the intro that you're there to remove the shroud and revitalize the land, to restart the world, but there is no sense of anything being accomplished.

They said that they are making adjustments to combat but didn't want to say anything specific yet cause it's still a work in progress.

Cool game but its way too easy, unless they jack up the difficulty in it im sticking with valheim.

I think getting the visuals to look good in higher resolution is more challenging than minecraft blocks.

I wish they would add more weapon and armor crafting mainly weapons make the grind and crafting rewarding versus spamming a loot chest
They need way more NPC's. Way more enemies and actual people in the villages and towns. The world is dead.
