Their lyrics are often quite deep, and although I understand that people don't like the music I'm happy that you joined us. Also for Rammstein ballads I recommend Seemann and Ohne Dich.
Rammstein actually wanted to go Tour in 2020, then Corvid lockdown hit. Bored they went into the studio and did an album, result is "Zeit".

The 3 black dressed figures are the three Nornes. In old German fore-christian mythology they represent the past present and future . The Norne of the past is named Urd (the destiny). The Norne of the present is named Verandi (that what is now and what will be in the next moment). The Norne of the future is Skuld (that what will grow out of the past and the ever changing moments). The Nornes spin the rope of life. They decide where the rope begins and where it ends in Germany we still say "life hangs at a thin rope" when things get dangerous or someone is hurt or really sick. The Nornes are no gods, they just represent the time of a life. People can't influence time and a lot of things that happens. The life of everyone is created by the Nornes what means by the time, and we are all sitting in the same boat mightless in the sands of time. This is the credo of the song
According to the Plato and Goethe (Faust) references they are most probably the Moirai or the Parcae and not the Nornes, but that might be like splitting hairs..

Till Lindeman is the greatest living German poet, both when he writes the lyrics for Rammstein's and his own songs, but also when he writes poetry (which he does and it is dark).
You need to learn German or go to educated Marine's channel, their lyrics always have many layers.
Till's dad was also Werner Lindemann, a famous German Poet.
Maybe next time try their romantic ballad "Dicke titten". 🙂

Interesting ..the american reaction channels are those who assume to have problems with the birthing scene.
