I'm a newb so it's hard when you say, "So, it should sound like this..." and then you play a thing that does NOT sound like what I play. I'm not sure about re-tuning. I tried it on my baritone (affectionately called Drew Barritone) and it still doesn't sound like what you say it "should" sound like...and then I quit because nothing I play sounds "The way it should."

If your ukulele is tuned differently, it will sound different. ;)

@@MattDahlberg Yes. Since I am not mentally challenged, I am very well aware if that. Thanks for your firm grasp of the extremely obvious. Like my reply says, I don't know how to re-tune it to how his is tuned. And the uke he is playing doesn't seem to be tuned the same as a baritone. But yes. When something is tuned differently than something else, the two things will sound different. Brilliant.

Wayfaring Stranger Sorry if I created any offense, that was not my intention. They make sets of strings that are gauged for baritone ukuleles, but tuned GCEA.

@@MattDahlberg It's not you, it's me. Lost my job when the virus came, ended up homeless. Got a shoebox trailer, no plumbing, no water and my town is burning down. The only things 2020 hasn't taken from me are my life and my ukulele, which is what's getting me through it all. When you are poor people treat you like an idiot ALL THE TIME. You didn't deserve my snark, I am sorry. Anyway, is yours tuned that way in the video? DGBE is how my bari is tuned. Is it just a matter of making the high D low?
