१९६५ में मैं बहुत छोटा था मुझे याद है की पूरा गांव में हिंदी फिल्म देखना मना था , हमारे पिताजी मानते थे की अगर बच्चे को फिल्म दिखाई तो वो बिगड़ जाएगा और पढाई नहीं कर पाएंगे एक दिन मै और मेरे मित्र चोरी छिपे फिल्म देखने गए थे । तो किसी ने मेरे पिताजी को बता दिया तो मेरे और मेरे मित्र के पिताजी ने दो नो को इतना पीटा की फिर कभी भी फिल्म का नाम नहीं लिया । लेकिन बड़ा होकर आज यूट्यूब पे वो पुराने गीत और फिल्म देखता हु जो मेरे बचपन की ख्वीश पूरी नहीं हुई थी और आँखमे आंसू के साथ पिताजी को याद करता हु आज में पिताजी की वजह से पढ़ा लिखा हु और अमेरिका में वेलसेट हु

1 am a Malaysian and don't understand Hindi and yet enjoy hindi songs from 1950 to 1970s. Music is UNIVERSAL and you don't need to understand the language to enjoy the song is good and the singers voice is soulful. Mohd Rafi, Lataji, Mukesh, Asha I, Geetha Dutt, Manna Dey, their voices touched the heart.

A girl who was beside me spoke up-"Aunty can you shift further." My choice of music made her feel that I'm an aged person. I swear if I had been 90 years old then, my heart might have been young as it was during traveling. My choice is golden that never let me feel worn....

These songs actually gave me that "PENICILLIN TABLET" to see through this present Pandemic Time. These songs cannot be matched as the LYRICISTS, who were there during our student days are no more. Nowadays all songs are "HULLA-BULLA". These do not serve that type of enjoyment.

1988 me मेरे गांव में केवल एक के घर में ब्लैक एंड वाइट टेलीविजन थी और सारा गांव उसके यहां देखने जाता था केवल दूरदर्शन चैनल डीडी नेशनल और लाइट मात्र 8 घंटे आती थी 24 घंटे ज्यादातर लोगों के मकान कच्चे the lite जाने के बाद ट्रैक्टर की बैटरी से चलाते थे बहुत ही sok tha rat के 12:00 बजे टीवी देख कर आते थे उसके घर से वह भी क्या जमाना था बहुत अच्छा था याद आती है 🙏🏾🙏🏾😭
I will be 78 years young in June 2020. I am and ex-Army Office (Infantryr), with almost 56 years of servici. I was posted in Poonch Sector in mid-sixties, in the forward most posts, viewing Pakistani piquets. Most prized possesssion I had was a HMV, Green Coloured battery operated record player, mostly 78RPM records in a separate box (about 15 kgs) When there was some respite from enemy fire, bullets hitting my bunker, I used to lull myself to sleep with these precious dities. With frequent turnover of locations, my Buddy+armed patrol, used to carry this precious cargo and when finally reaching, used to find everythig set up for welcome.

इस वीडियो को डाले हुए 7 वर्ष हो गए हैं, लेकिन आज पहली बार ही इसे देखने का अवसर मिला है।
बहुत सुंदर और दिल को छू लेने वाले इतने गाने एक साथ सुनने को मिले हैं।
इनमें से अधिकांश फिल्में मैंने अपने बचपन में देखी हुई हैं। फिर भी इन गानों को सुनकर बहुत अच्छा लगा और पुराने दिनों की याद हो आई है। उस समय पर टिकट के रेट भी "पाँच आने" से शुरू हुआ करते थे, जो कि उस समय पर भी बहुत महंगे लगते थे। अधिकांश फिल्में इसी रेट की टिकट पर ही देखी गई थीं।
