@ Josh hasn't even won an elimination in 2 seasons in wes's first two seasons he won 6 in a row and made it to the final both times AND won his second final AND was the first individual winner for winning that final. There isn't even a comparison to be made when it comes to Wes and Josh.

Honestly, Johnny has grown on me. I used to hate him for the longest, but he's gotten better IMO. Wes is kinda the same way. I really did appreciate their friendship. This is the first time it felt genuine.

He has never won an elimination and never won by himself. He is the biggest flop in history and all of you who want to defend him can go back up his ass.
Loved the fact that Bananas and Wes finally put their rivalry aside and worked together. There seemed to be a mutual respect for each other and what each has accomplished in the game. Both of them were ready and willing to earn their red skulls and it was an elimination that lived up to the billing.

It's weird wes went in considering he basically had a silver spoon for that season since he was set politically and in dailies but at the same time Great elimination and the end was downright heartwarming.
Completely agree but I also see the stress of not knowing when the last elimination to get a red skull would be. I think one of the worst scenarios would be to make it to the end and get sent home because you dont have one.

Johnny definitely played Wes here. If he was really trying to make amends he shouldn't have volunteered himself. and let Wes choose who he wanted to go against. Wes carried him all the way this season.
Maya Aglialoro but in the end everyone got opportunities to compete for red skulls. Remember when they made it seem like Bayleigh was going to be eliminated because she wasn’t voted in for a red skull by Kaycee but then the following week they created another elimination for her.
This made me a fan of Wes. I wish he wouldn't have voted himself in bc i wanted to see em both make a final. That being said, the way he took that loss and the mutual display of respect between the 2.. im team wananas all day!
Like a lot of the competitors they were hot heads in their early seasons.. probably has most to do with the fact that they were early 20s. Wes, bananas, CT all grew up and are generally good sports. All became friends too despite all having their issues with eachother
This is the first season you have to go down there fast as possible he had no choice.

There is this crazy thing that is true about finding a rival. As much as you may tell yourself that you hate and despise this person, deep, deep down, you know the people you consider your rivals are the ones who draw out the best (and sometimes the very worst) in you. They make you reach down to places you didn't even know you had. When that competition is gone, you understand how much you needed them to become the person you are today. It's funny how a show like this can hit this kind of mark for me. Much respect to Bananas and Wes.
No go lie the ending made me cry specially when Wes said Johnny is tattooed into his life & I can finally say he my friend I been hoping they will push their egos to the side & just face the fact that no matter what that person go always be in your life no matter if you like them or not🥺❤️❤️

Wes has had one of the best arcs on this show. He came on to the scene so cocky but now he is still cerebral but he clearly has made friends.

So proud of Wes. Been watching since both were rookies. Wes is true alpha. First a physical force and underdog, now a tactical fiend and threat to all. Went in knowing pros and cons. Came to luck in the end, but knew he'd end up winning either way. Something Johnny and his fans wouldn't understand. #Wesfan4life

To be honest this was a pure luck Elimination, again. Just like the elimination Dee vs. Ashley. There's no strategy needed to find the battery, it's based on who's finding it first. It makes me sad to see The Challenge going into this direction. On the side... I loved Wes and Bananas together this season!
I feel like there is some strategy. First off the better shape you’re in the better you’re going to do because you’ll be faster and stronger at breaking the wall and searching. Then do you try to go all the way to the top and search there first then save energy to do the bottom squares or do you just try to do it as fast as possible.
It's part luck but favors speed/endurance. People who are able to get around faster and smoother will have an advantage. I do wonder where Wes' last battery was though. The way Wes talked about it almost made me feel like production fucked up.

Every time is the same, Irrationally emotional, plays dumb, makes enemies for no reason, and talks big but never backs it up. He's pretty much just fodder people keep around to beat.
Wes is right about his obsession. Despite Wes trying every way possible to let him know he doesn't care about him; to the point of ignoring Josh MULTIPLE times that he was in the tribunal, Josh still doesn't get it and is still obsessed.
Hes so irritating and i already have a feeling he's gonna be one of the guys Exed out for not having a red skull (if he doesn't get beat first).

For over 20 years watching challenge and watched these two grow up with me!! Some of these vets feel like family too me....its been a huge part of my life as far as entertainment! It sucks tho because I know I'm getting older and that means these vets are as well and its gonna suck realizing that each season is one of their last and then they will be gone forever as far as being apart of my life....its really sad in a indescribable way
This elimination sucked !! It was about pure chance…no strategy, strength, endurance involved. The legends deserve better. And FYI I feel like Wes somehow felt pressured. This was an emotional reaction and not logical thinking. 😩 I feel like true fans would be enjoyed a final match up!
I loved the elimination and also if one of them got tired and stopped the other would have kept up so there was endurance

It had endurance involved. You can see by the end that they are both exhausted. Plus both of them broke through all of their holes which means both of them and up missing poles and have to go back. But I think something like the rope one CT and Darrel did would have been much better.
