The referee in the United game has in his last 38 games involving United given them double the number of yellow cards compared to their PL opponents (believe the number is 81-40). He was born in Manchester too, chances are Anthony taylor had his boyhood club destroyed/and or overshadowed by man u meaning he got bantered his entire childhood by Man u and Man u fans on the daily and now he has it out for them lol
Arsenal had like atleast 5 games this season where the refs were crucial in the outcome of the game and nobody other then Arsenal fans cares. But ONE game with questionable decision for United and it’s a problem…
Arsene Wenger said this as far back as when Man U kicked Arsenal off the pitch in OT and Mike Riley waved away. And Man U fans and players mocked him. I agree the refereeing levels are shocking
Great video Mark. Incompetence of refs may cost Arsenal a title, so glad arsenal could make the comeback against bournemouth which had 4 handballs inside the box and no penalties for that. Still shoking.
What about the Spurs/Richarlison's goal ruled incorrectly offside. To change the correct on field decision to one based on an incorrect drawn lines on a 'non-playing' part of the body is criminally inept. The rest of these Mark is complaining about is debatable... but this was 100% wrong
Refereeing in the Premier League this season has been horrendous. The only consistent thing is that every team is dropping points because of bad officiating which in itself is a bad image for the league. Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Chelsea all dropped points because of bad refereeing.
Now mark will understand how City fans felt for that Bruno goal in the Derby. No hate against Mark and Man U but feels good that finally he understands the problem and stating it publicly.
@@swat_snipez5823 yeah and that's why I said no hate to him. It's the importance of the scenario. If that goal becomes the reason City loses the title or United drop out of the top 4, then who will we blame.

When Chelsea were given an obvious pen against United in November, you said it wasn't a pen because of bias, although you said Odegaard fouled Eriksen in September for much less. I do agree that officiating is horrendous in the Premier League though and United were robbed yesterday.
Honestly, we need a referee interview. A journalist asking tough questions and letting the refs defend themselves because this covering up for each other is not making any of them accountable. I'd rather hear a ref say I got that wrong than covering up blatant errors
You’re spot on, Mark. As much as I love seeing United ship points these officials have been screwing over everyone. Genuinely appreciate how objective you are.

A bit rich coming of United fans moaning about referees. They used to win titles with the help of refs. One decision didn't go their way yesterday and the world has gone mad.
We need to stop assuming that studs automatically means it's a dangerous tackle, it very rarely is. What makes those studs tackles dangerous is the angle at which the foot goes into the other player, if you do a studs tackle towards the ground onto another players legs then the pressure applied to the players leg between the studs and the ground can cause a break. Casemiros tackle/leg was not going towards the ground there was no chance of any serious injury occuring, the others players leg was just pushed away from the force, he'll have a small bruise at most.
If you actually watched the clip properly you'd see that rashford's foot collides with the knee of bazunu and he goes down as a result of the contact. Certainly not enough to give a pen imo but not really a dive either as there was contact there. Try and use your brain in future
The fact that the refs didn't give a red card in other matches, it doesn't mean that Casemiro didn't deserve it. It was a clear red card. The handball should have been a penalty and the fault on Garnacho it should have been at least a yellow. That was an ugly tackle from behind.

Refs have destroyed football...🤬😡 this will continue this weekend or whenever there will be riots. keep up the epic work Mark ^_^
I have not seen one red card for united that Mark thought was a right call... Gotta love him tho
Well even if you think it's a red you gotta agree with Mark on the inconsistency. If Casemiro was a red the the challenge in the Chelsea game should have 1000% been a red. And if you don't give one for the challenge in that Chelsea game you shouldn't give one now for a weaker challenge
@@raffy4559lso if you think that the Casemiro one was a red and the Periera one wasn’t your bias is showing.
Chelsea fans should be even more angry at this. Joao Felix’s first game he was sent off for a challenge he was trying to pull out of, but when it happens to them it’s not even reviewed?? Crazy.
@@bigishdave1862 The casemiro challenge shouldn't be a red let's be real. He get's the ball then his foot ricochets onto the leg of alcaraz and hits him with far less force than if casemiro had missed the ball completely
Rashford 'offside' goal in the Manchester derby is offside all day long, shocking ref got Man U back in the game
It’s about making the game fair no matter if you’re a United fan, Chelsea fan, City fan, Arsenal fan whatever. They make mistakes every single week and it’s letting teams see massive points dropped or lost. It’s a shambles. I don’t know what is a red card anymore 🤷♂️
Ironic of a United fan slandering the referees after they laughed when Rashford interfered with play against Man City
Love you mark, speaking facts as always, VIVA GOLDBRIDGE ❤
The referee in the United game has in his last 38 games involving United given them double the number of yellow cards compared to their PL opponents (believe the number is 81-40). He’s also never sent off a player against United in those 38 games but has sent off 3 United players in just the last 15. United have also only won 2 of the last 9 games he’s took charge of. No way is that all just a big coincidence.
Look you crying pricks. You owned referees for years under Fergie. If you have twice as many yellow cards as opponents it's because you're twice as filthy.
He was born in Manchester too, chances are Anthony taylor had his boyhood club destroyed/and or overshadowed by man u meaning he got bantered his entire childhood by Man u and Man u fans on the daily and now he has it out for them lol
@@bradhurst6834he was born in Birmingham
With this red. You can be out of top 4. Without casemiro. It is very difficult to win games.
It wasn’t a pen and was a red card , but yes there’s no consistency
Definitely a red card, if Casemiro's foot goes through it's a career ending ankle breaking challenge
@@SpliffProductions how? Casemiro bounced off the ball
Yes you're a Big fool, Yes it was a Red card and it was Pen
@@SpliffProductionswhy “if” ,it didn’t break his ankle so no red

Arsenal had like atleast 5 games this season where the refs were crucial in the outcome of the game and nobody other then Arsenal fans cares. But ONE game with questionable decision for United and it’s a problem…
Been saying it for weeks as an Arsenal fan. The standard of refs in this country is in the gutter!
If we are getting rid of the referees, can we start with Anthony Taylor and Mike Dean? Chelsea fan here
Arsene Wenger said this as far back as when Man U kicked Arsenal off the pitch in OT and Mike Riley waved away. And Man U fans and players mocked him. I agree the refereeing levels are shocking
Refs have been consistently dropping stinkers especially this season
Great video Mark. Incompetence of refs may cost Arsenal a title, so glad arsenal could make the comeback against bournemouth which had 4 handballs inside the box and no penalties for that. Still shoking.
Mark We will stop city 💯🤞🏾
Couldn’t agree anymore with you mark our game has lost its integrity and the fans who make this game what it is have to suffer
I love how VAR has taken all the controversy out of the game.
😅😅😅
No hate against Mark and Man U but feels good that finally he understands the problem and stating it publicly.
tbf to mark he said it shouldnt have been given
@@swat_snipez5823 yeah and that's why I said no hate to him. It's the importance of the scenario. If that goal becomes the reason City loses the title or United drop out of the top 4, then who will we blame.
Wolves had a blatant penalty disregarded as well against Newcastle
Mark, if you had this passion when unfair decisions go for Man United, they might take it seriously.
As someone who’s come second by a point at least twice. That city result against Everton still bugs me from last season
robbery
You’re spot on, Mark. As much as I love seeing United ship points these officials have been screwing over everyone. Genuinely appreciate how objective you are.
it feels like every weekend we’re having to complain about the decisions we genuinely need change
petition for pl refs to be penalised after every wrong decision made. If they can’t do the work and be consistent, dun be on the field
“It’s the pink boots Marcus”
I so so love your objective way of thinking Mark. Keep it up. You are the only person i watch for your unbiased analysis lately, honestly.
I'll accept the red card... but how have they not done the slow-mo, freezeframe, have the ref go and look at it - for the handball penalty! I just don't get it. No consistency.
Howard Webb was the worst ref in the premier league now he's in charge of var that tells you everything you want to know
Howard Webb's a complete crap!
Chelsea fan here I witnessed amartey stud havertz in the chest and not even receive a card 😂 it is craziness how bad it is. If you look at the amartey one who kicks and leaves there foot at chest height??😂 only nfl punters do that. Also with the casimero that was never a red perreiras vs us was way worse and apparently that weren’t even a yellow
Yeah, it was Kunfu and not football by Amartey
The Mainstream Media is awful these days. Can't be trusted. 👏👏👏👏👏 on calling them out Mark.
Hard to take any of this seriously when Mark actually thought that Bruno goals wasn’t offside against City lol
you’re wrong mate he admitted immediately that it was clearly offside
How about Sabitzer's foul on Faes against Leicester, I think he got away with one there.
The arrogance thinking the ref got them wrong in the man utd game is unbelievable. All 3 big decisions correct
Whataboutery all over the place
I agree with everything you’ve said Mark. This incompetence matters when it affects relegation battles and top 4. Every team will be affected one way or another, by the end of the season! The beautiful game ruined by officiating!
The Gallagher imitation 😂😂
Mark i agree there is a lack of consistency with officials however it’s pretty ironic you brought up xhaka because he got sent off for an identical tackle against city last yr and you said it was the correct decision. They’re inconsistent but so are you.
It was a Red card but there should have been more red cards on many players last weekend
Please watch a different sport mate, football ain’t for you. Cause this is gonna happen to someone on your team and you’ll be crying about it pal.
@@xSeikooo it was a red. But all we are asking is for consistency. Someone's getting away with much tackle that what Casemiro did. That's why we're asking for consistency
@@xSeikooo I said there should have been many Red cards. Study before you write
@@bigishdave1862 true
Refs have been shocking but it was absolutely worth it for seeing Goldbridge's impression of Dermot Gallagher.
What about Nick Popes challenge on Jiminez and the ref not giving a red card and a penalty? VAR didn't even check that.
That was crazy
VAR did check it as the ref taps his ear piece, Jiminez dived and overplayed it, he even looked embarrassed afterwards and didn't even protest the decision.
Jiminez initiates the contact. Had he tried to play the ball he scores in an open net.
Us Wolves fans are used to it , we get the worst officials almost every game . The ref that robbed us against newcastle also was in charge of the robbery against liverpool in the fa cup . There is some corruption going on behind the scenes
This same ref Anthony Taylor literally ignored two blatant fouls from spurs on Chelsea which we should of got 3 points from. Romero pulled cucurellas hair he ignored it was clear as day and there was another foul later in the game. Both of those fouls they went on to score 20 seconds after smh
Pulling hair lols he was just styling his hair 🤣
bentancur got the ball tho
So true Mark!!!
Finally someone cover this subject the right way ..
it’s true .. the refs arnt on anyones side… it’s so sad … Cus they do ruin weekends … even as a neutral …
A bit rich coming of United fans moaning about referees. They used to win titles with the help of refs. One decision didn't go their way yesterday and the world has gone mad.
Please watch a different sport mate, football ain’t for you. Cause this is gonna happen to someone on your team and you’ll be crying about it pal.
The only consistency with the refs is their inconsistency
We need to stop assuming that studs automatically means it's a dangerous tackle, it very rarely is. What makes those studs tackles dangerous is the angle at which the foot goes into the other player, if you do a studs tackle towards the ground onto another players legs then the pressure applied to the players leg between the studs and the ground can cause a break. Casemiros tackle/leg was not going towards the ground there was no chance of any serious injury occuring, the others players leg was just pushed away from the force, he'll have a small bruise at most.
Absolutely mate. Spot on.
It's crazy to see literally the exact same handball situations be called clear penalty in certain fixtures and not even checked in others.
Rashford did a clear dive on the weekend and the ref just ignored it. It swings in roundabouts
Havent even watched the video but just off the title and the ManU vs Southampton and Chelsea vs Leicester games i already know this video is gonna be facts.
Let’s be real if the other games had 100% correct decisions he would still claim this to be incorrect, mark only goes against what everyone else feels as it gets more traction and views
@@jordanb966That is besides the point, he said he doesn't care if you think its a red or not. He just said that everyone agrees that there is inconsistency in the refs decisions, which is 100% true.
Me personally I dont think its a red, but Im not gonna act like its 100% not a red because there is a debate to be had.
The hand ball on the other hand has to be one of the worst calls this season.

As an Arsenal fan I feel your pain Mark, that was shocking refereeing by Taylor once again. If thats not handball then what is? Do players need to start picking up the ball for it to be handball?
Yeah and that penalty he gave you against man City. Absolutely ridiculously poor decision from Taylor.

Chelsea fan here, off the top of my head, this season alone I can name the cucurella hair pull, the Southhampton player kicking azpi in the head, soucek deciding to become a goalkeeper, the pereira tackle on Felix, and Amartey brogue kicking havertz in the chest. Meanwhile felix gets sent off for a challenge he tries to pull out of. Brilliant video and bang on!
In my opinion and I've said it for 2 years, VAR is used to fix or influence results.
As a chelsea fan I 200% agree, it’s so annoying especially when yk with Pereira. He aimed for Felix specifically but he didn’t even get a card I can’t blv it even now.
It’s literally so bad to the point where I’m genuinely surprised if there’s a weekend where there AREN’T wrong decisions made, not that I can remember a weekend like that in recent memory lol

Everton fan here , I’ve said the same thing for years the quality of officiating in the premier league is abysmal. My question is why do we stick with English referees ? Surely most foreign referees would want to referee in England and to a high quality as well. Most players on the pitch are now foreign , why not the referees !
Absolute nonsense.casemiro could only blame himself for a player of his calibre committing straightforward offendable tackles which could lead to a red.casemiro will learn from this and comeback stronger.
The inconsistencies are in match officiating is bad. We have said it before and we continue to say it. We have been beneficiaries a few times but suffered 100 times more from these bad officiating. It needs to be fixed. Probably it's corruption.
