- In today's study vlog, I'm preparing for my 3rd criminal and contract workshops (mostly criminal bc they set a LOT of work) while studying on the Newcastle University Campus! The first few criminal workshops in particular, covering actus reus/mens rea, assault and murder, had way more work than my other law modules. This term I'm taking Tort, Contract, Crim and Constitutional, and have two workshops on Tuesdays and two on Fridays. It's a lot, and I'm sleep deprived, but I am enjoying it!

Hi Chloé, I am about to start pgdl with Ulaw, do you recommend doing it at Newcastle campus rather than other major cities in England?
It's personal preference, the course is completely the same everywhere! Some ULaw campuses are just a single building in a city (E.g. Leeds, London), whereas some are part of another University (E.g Newcastle). London is more expensive than every other campus but other than that it really depends where you want to live
What beacon? (3:00) Do not cross what? Is this just a when light is on do not enter in some obscure dialect?
idk why it's worded like that tbh 😂 I've never seen the light come on either lol
Hi Georgie, I come from China, maybe next year I will come to Newcastle University, please can you tell me how is the living condition around Newcastle University? thank you very much.
Newcastle is a lovely city! Most Newcastle University students live in Jesmond or near to St James. The city has a mix of new and old buildings, a nice riverfront and some parks. It's small enough that you can walk around the city centre, and areas like Jesmond are easy to get to by underground. It's well known for its night life and generally more affordable than other UK cities like London :)
@@GeorgieEllen10 Oh you are so kind, thank you so much for your patience, and if I come to Newcastle next year I will treat you to dinner, wish you all the best
