Anything goes = no rules That's on period = that's it Preach = agree or keep going Since day one = from the beginning Open to it = be willing To top something = do better than before To say the least = an understatement Are you with me? = do you understand ? To shake things up = to change things Typical = when something or someone annoys you Tell-tale sign = a clear sign that someting will happen . A toss-up = 50/50 To get a handle on something = to control a situation On your end/on my end Back-to-back = happens two times in a row To get caught up = get busy or stuck Sort it out = figure it out Act out = child misbehave Act up = behave wildly It's a wrap = it's finished
Thank you to you only just watch how to understand phrase or idiom but some thing rather difficult the way to watch not the way to get it let learn every thing thank you for study
Hi Kayla! I just wanted to ask this question which popped into my head as I was watching it: is the cherry on top more like another phrase in English that is "icing on the cake"? I mean can we use them interchangeably? Thanks in advance! Take care!
There are many different places where English is spoken, I would learn a bit of all of them and then focus on what will be most useful in your travels or studies
Are you really an American ? I am asking this because there are so many online teachers who claim to be Americans but actually are Russians.Anyway you sound like an American to me.
