Type 71 is incredible at, like you said, holding positions. Especially when up against mediums and lights, this tank can save an entire flank almost by itself. The armor is just so troll, and the gun has pretty decent accuracy and reload. Where this tank just gets dominated however, is when you go up against heavies and TDs. Load prammo or just have a high pen gun, and this tank just gets completely naked from any red spots. So I feel the armor and the tank in general can vary very very drastically on what kind of tanks and players you come up against.

Hey Droodles, have you seen the new super heavy that's on the russian servers? I saw a russian stream a few days ago and I've never seen a tank like that, it's a T10 heavy and i don't know the name but I think it had 1300 in the name. Edit: I translated the name and it's apparently LW-1300 Uranus
Worst part is not this tank is nerfed but you must buy an equipment slot and choose either one of them and both of them are vital mechanics for tank, these are mobility and gun depression. I have this tank in my garage, I played at its peak. What a shame. I hope WG fixes this tank asap.
Not all AFK players are bad....most of the time I go AFK is because of my network....what do you mean they need to get punished more......not all AFK are the players fault
I think the best way would be to punish the players that are afk for multiple battles in a short period of time. My internet has died on me multiple times so I understand what your saying

I run enhanced armor on the type and I think it works pretty well. Less accurate tanks will struggle a lot!
Enchanced helps the upper plate a lot. Unfortunately enhanced is getting nerfed

The new Italian t10 ht has 40mm of armor at the back hull and turret so you can get HE spammed so I don't recommend grinding it
