Here's my new piece called "Ascension".
This was one of those songs that I started while ago and was lost in between all my other projects. Here's how it works for me ( I'm probably not alone in this): I start a song, compose a bit of it, sounds basic, sounds bad, sounds generic and not good enough and I drop it. This happens like 5 or 6 times before I finish a whole song, which means I have dozens of unfinished songs. Some of them I will never touch them again. Others , like this one, I come back to it a few days or weeks later and I know that I can make something basic and generic to sound decently to share with you guys.
I know I don't upload very frequently. I probably already said this a couple of times but I am a perfectionist with my work. I could upload a song every 2 days or even every day if I wanted to. But I like to upload only when inspiration strikes at its finest . And that can take up to a month to happen. That's why most of the time I only upload once every 3 or 4 weeks.
Also, I'm writing a lot today, I had an idea about doing some kind of video diary everytime I am composing a new song. Basically me talking in a video about this stuff I write in the video descriptions. Just my thoughts and stuff like that. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm getting so many good comments and words from all of you in this song , which is actually overwhelming to me and I feel very humble and proud that I have such a fantastic fan base with such good people in it! Thank you for all the likes, the comments, the shares and the words you all take time to write.
I know sometimes I make some music which is not the style many of you might be expecting. I came to the conclusion that the music I create is "endless" in the way that it has no proper style. It has a bit of everything in it and this is the way I love to compose. Turn a slow emotional movement , like in this song at 03:32 and turn it into an epic spine chilling moment, always with a touch of medieval and celtic music in it.
I grew up listening to great composers that inspired me become one as well. Names like Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore or John Williams. But the truth is I found my "home" of music when I discovered Thomas Bergersen from Two Steps from Hell and Jeremy Soule's music. These 2 composers made me the composer I am today and I am thankful to them and to their amazing gift.

can i use this song?
A side note : There's obviously a quality drop of the song on UA-cam, plus I'm uploading videos with mp3 files, not max quality. If you guys notice any sound imperfections (too much bass or even some noise crackling) just remember that this is not a final quality version. Those are saved for the album version.
Also I am not the best sound engineer out there, my mastering skills are very limited to say the least. So bear with me and with my music as it is. I promise I do my best and I learn something more everyday :)

"You don't have wings!" they told her. It was true. She was the only one that did not have wings. You had to have had your Ascension to have wings. She had waited 18 years since her birth for her Ascension to come. Then she would rise to be a full member of the society. But it never came. She tried so hard. But they knocked her down. Telling her she was worthless. Finally one day she didn't care. She gave up. She jumped off a cliff, promising herself that if her wings didn't form she would die and it was for the best. Then the burning in her back started. Her magic spread from her fingertips to form wings.
Wings.
Slowly getting the hang of it she flew and flew till she could fly no more. Leaving her troubles behind, clouds flew by, tears streamed down her face as she blessed Ascension.
Her Ascension.
When she came back she showed every one her wings. "I've had my Ascension!" She told them. "I am now a full member of the society!" They looked at her like she was the smallest thing in the world and shook their heads and laughed. She now understood. Wings would not convince them.
So she worked even harder than before. Rising higher and higher in position. Until she was the Prime counselor for the king. She discovered her magic was the strongest ever known. She now sat next to the King during all his meetings, she was at his side at all times when he might need her, Always with a satisfied smile at her lips. No one could ever say she was incompetent now.
But as she looked back she wondered if her wings ever would have formed if not for the last thought of hopelessness. The last act of tempting fate. She would never know. But looking at her back and seeing her wings she knew she didn't care.
She had her Ascension.
I looked up the word Ascension and it meant rising to a higher position, that inspired this story.

Been playing a D&D campaign with my friends and family for nearly a year now; My character was hand pickrd from an early age by a divine goddess to become her divine champion. After awhile my character was blessed with divine wings and is slowly ascending over the course of our campaign. This song is now my personal token song for my character and for the campaign. It just fills me with all the happy memories I have had playing D&D with my party.
Only 2 words to describe this music " sheer magnificent". Nothing else to say. I hope brunuhville gets a chance to compose music for a fantasy movie soon. Brunuhville is more than ready for that I am sure.

Amazing pure amazing! I absolutely love the flute tunes, and the opening awees before the epic build up! Love this art as well! The little puffs of the wooden flute tied with piano r beautifully combined! And love the huge epic build up at the end ba da da da DAH and then bam!! your music just has me in a trance and pure happiness from beginning to end!

As i stood up there ready to fly, the sun set perfect for the hot day to cool down.Wondering if i should do this, the next thing i do is leap off the mountain and i find i had done it as i sore up with the wind hitting my face and whistling in my ears. It was soon i was above the clouds i spread my wings for a steadily flying still i spread close my eyes and take in the cold night air.
I open my eyes and lower my arms. I look up and find a full moon. The moons light gleaming on me. Not may clouds were up here and so i looked down to only find my village streets with not many people.I did't know what to do next.I look to the to my side and find the castle.I head toward it,soaring through the clouds under the moonlit over the moors.
As i fly around it, i look over the kingdom. I head back into the woods by my pond and small cottage, hidden deep in the woods. Once i spot it i land softly and close my wings. I unlock the door and walk in. I lay on my bed and close my eyes and fall asleep.In the morning i wake and eat soup with milk i tend to steel along with food. I go back into my room and put on a brown dress and i walk out side, lock my door and open my wing and sore through the moors and around the kingdom.

This is my favorite song from you. I just love it so so much and those notes at 2:38 are bringing tears to my eyes every single time. Sometimes I just repeat those few seconds over and over because it is so exquisite and beautiful. There is this book series I really love, the Throne of Glass, and this song reminds me of one of its characters, Aelin. It's like you wrote this song for her. Simply perfect.
