Hello Mr. H, how is the speed of the transmitted wave at 7:48 greater than the incident and reflected wave even though the wave is entering a less dense material, becuase earlier you said that sound travels fastest in materials with highest density, therefore if in this case the wave is entering a less dense material shouldn't the velocity (speed) be less than earlier???
Great Video. Can you explain why a fixed end pulse inverts from a particle perspective? Why & how that that works. I know it has something to do with Newton’s 3rd Law but I don’t understand the physics of why the wave inverts at a fixed end. Ty😎👍

If all other things are equal, waves travel fastest in a less dense medium
