Hey, I’m currently 19 and trying to save up for a down payment on a 2009 challenger SRT8 and I wanna say this body is amazing will most definitely be coping once I pay it off 😂
I just watched the “is this the fastest Scat Pack” video and I tend to agree. I didn’t have time to comment on it since I was uploading and pressed for time before we hit the road. Just wanted to let you know I did watch it though. Stay fast my brother. LLWAV!!
You are a man of many skills! Congrats to LRM for another accomplishment! Wow, wish we had some of that rain here in California! Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it! Yes! LLWAV!
I try to stay busy and taking on new projects tends to benefit me. The more you know, the more you grow. If we dream it, believe it, we can achieve it. LLWAV!!
Thank you LeBoof. It amazes me some of the things I decide to take on with my cars. Figure if I can pay someone to do it, I can do it too. Love and miss you ladies. LLWAV!!
Props to you for knocking this one out without a garage! 💪 Putting the work in is always satisfying, same deal for me when I installed my cam kit in my 5.7. There's something great that's kind of hard to describe about making a plan, putting in the work and seeing the results. Cheers
I couldn’t agree more TrackPackRT! If I was going to pay someone to do it, they would be doing pretty much what I did. Take a chance on yourself. Heck, UA-cam how to do it lol. LLWAV!!
Had to take a break from social media. Outside of UA-cam (for the content I already have) I have no social media. Period. I’m thinking about getting back on here but it would be strictly for my ride. Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed my vlogs. That means a lot to me.
Glad you're ok and I understand the social media thing. I have no social media either. Wishing you and Lil Red an awesome Holiday season. All the best.@@LiveLifeWithAView
Great question. I purchased them off of EBay from Vland. I purchased them to fit the car not the grille. You have to purchase what works with your car. 👍🏾✊🏾
I had to shave down the bezels and literally cut some of the plastic away around the corners. From the grille light housing. Far away not noticeable. You would have to really be looking for it to see it.
@@LiveLifeWithAView you have any social media I can follow you on? Just trynna see how much is visible and how much i need to shave off. Had trouble putting it on today, going back at it tomorrow
Hellcats do not have fog lights. I placed my fog lights behind the grille and rock them that way. If you look closely in the thumbnail you can see one of them on the bottom left. (As if you’re sitting in the driver seat of the pic with SRT on the grille.) LLWAV!!
Did you have the cut the front fenders on yours to make it work ? Just wondering just ordered my kit and kinda want to b prepared ! Also did you HAVE TO Replace the headlights immediately?
No I didn’t cut the fender flares. My rear wheels were rubbing when I went over any bumps (while not going at a snails pace.) I resolved this issue by going with 305/30/20’s all the way around the car. No more scrape. The headlights will not work on the new bumper. I ordered my kit from Vicrez. I did all the work myself. I do however still need to get my entire car painted and have the front bumper “touched up” since it didn’t have braces on it when Vicrez shipped it. There are two areas that are not flush and a body shop will be able to take care of it. Small things like that. Overall it’s been a year with it on there and I love it.
@@LiveLifeWithAView yeah i saw where a guy said you would have to shave the plastic down in order for the regular headlights to work I’m skeptical not sure if i want to do that or buy the new headlights . But yeah i did this in my v6 challenger but suspension is different in the two so i was a little scared because I’ve been seeing a lot of people cut on the 392s 😖
They fit perfectly with the original lights, not so much with the Hellcat Halo lights I had on there. I had to do some modifications to the grill for them to fit. LLWAV!!
I’ve been thinking about getting a used SRT8 from 09 (I know gross). And I’m just trying to confirm here. You removed the older front and rear lights and updated it them to the 2015 look right? Cause that’s exactly what I’m hoping can be done in my situation too
Why the (I know gross)? TChalla is an 09 and I absolutely LOVE my SRT. To answer you question, yes I did remove and replace the front fender with the updated Demon grille. I didn't change the tail lights, although Vicrez does make new style tail light conversions for our years. Good luck and if you do the conversion, please let me know. I would love to see your before and after. LLWAV!!
I’ve had three Challengers up till this point. They’re amazing cars and they are very fun to drive. I’ve personally never had any issues with any of my vehicles so in my opinion they’re very reliable also. Let me know if you purchase one. I would love to hear about it.
Appreciate the comment. Vader is still going strong and the Widebody kit is still looking great. I’ll get around to an update video but it’s going to be a moment. Need to get her painted again. Once she is back looking brand new, then I will do a visual update video. Take care. LLWAV!!
No it is not. I have 275/45 on the front and 315/35 on the rear. So there isn't much of a gap and it gives the appearance of being lowered. How about your ride? Is it lowered? LLWAV!!
It was a total of 1700.00. I did the install myself so that saved me money there. I do however STILL need to get it painted and have a body shop smooth out the front facia due to it being bent slightly in shipping. Vicrez said it needs to be heated with a heat gun and formed back into shape. Outside of the paint and reshaping of facia, the purchase and install were well worth it. I love the look of Vader being widebodied. Night and day difference. Hope this helped. LLWAV!!
Where are you located out of curiosity? You can buy the kit yourself and do it or have a body shop install it. If you’re in Fort Myers Florida, I would be happy to do it or help you with it. LLWAV!!
@@Kayloxk My schedule is ridiculous now. I would not want to commit a promise and not be able to follow through. I know there are plenty of body shops there (if you do not feel comfortable doing it yourself) that would happily put it on for you. Hit me back up when you pick up your Challenger. Ghost Srt8 !!
I do not. I’m pretty much off of all social media. You can email me at livelifewithaview@gmail.com and I can send you all of the photos of Vader. Before and after. Going the srt8 route is a great option in my opinion. Find one with good mileage and you have a solid starting block for upgrades.
Finally I’ve been looking for a video like this im trying to see how the updated bumper style would look
Glad that it helped. There are still many mods that I want to do to TChalla in the future. What year is your Challenger? LLWAV!!

I purchased the lights from Vland and they came with everything needed. LLWAV!!
Wich lights exactly?
@@puffintrukin4900 I appreciate the response, I ended up just selling them & getting something plug & play. Easier.
When’s a new video coming?
It’s been a moment since anyone even cared to ask. Figured I would put some more content out when there was an interest in it. LLWAV!!
My hood don't reach the bumper either. Did you ever figure that out?
I adjusted it as best I could and eventually just added led light across to make that space “vanish.” Works out like a charm.
Does The new bumper have fog lights?
