Abigail, i wish we has started playing cello years ago and could have followed you along while you were active in youtube. thank for leaving these posted: your instruction is so helpful.
You are an amazing teacher. You have helped me so much. I love your enthusiasm and passion and your ability to have fun with the pieces. Thank you soooo much. I’ve definitely learned more from you than anyone!
Abigail, I cannot described how thrilled I am! I have searched for an instruction like this for three weeks and finally found your video. Before now, I tried to move my arm faster but could not do match the tempo. My cello teacher did not help much either. It just seems natural to her to move the bow from G string to A string quickly. Now I learned how to do it. Much appreciated.
thanks for posting this video. packed full of great tips. told my cello teacher about your website. having great fun with Gavotte by Lully as well. you're a great teacher. thanks once again
I hope you are still playing at 81! I just started two years ago at 79 and I must say it’s a lot of a challenge to remember things and to be flexible with my bow hand. I’m glad to hear there is another older person out there maybe having the same issues.
All these years later and we, cello students of the world, still go to your videos for help. Thank you so much for posting them - they make all the difference. Just one question, why didn't you do a video for Lully's Gavotte? There are other videos available, but nothing like yours! Thanks again!
Thank you for the kind feedback. Check again for Lully Gavotte. I made a video for it, which is divided into two parts. You can find it under the "cello repertoire practice tips" playlist on my channel.

As an adult student, fast passes are always difficult.
