❤KK Rodya ❤ She's so badly designed and I love her for it. I actually have a method for her to work with no help from poise support passives in story focused encounters but it's so complicated that it can't be intential. For it you need two slots which is already pretty demanding of her, and use her in bleed team. Then you need to use her S2 and then S1 in that order (note:in focused encouters you can choose in what order your skills are played if it's from one unit regardless of positining, you need to select skills you want to use first first, doesn't work if Rodya is slower which WILL happen sometimes with that 2-5 speed) and win both of those clashes but bleed team is pretty good on SP department and S2 provides poise so S1 acutally clashes well rolling 14. SO this will have 56% chance of leaving Rodya with 1 poise count and 10 potency next turn, perfect her S3 conditinals are fueled but if you use her counter you will need to use her S2 because S1 now has 50% chance to blow up the poise count and counters are defensive skills so they will activate based on enemy speed so keep that in mind. Don't forget to use her counter on a skill slot that has S1 below it to discard it btw. Now after all these hops she's good and can fuel herself(if you have two slots on her(and on a bleed team(also you need win all clashes(and get past that 56% to not crit)))). Altough S3 hits HARD if you have 10 poise potency and with bleed team chance of hitting that crit is actually 100%. 10 bleed is also a lot. I kinda want more units that have such complicated poise play tbh. All of that was fun to think about even if it's 90% unintentional and requires knowledge of double slotting, skill order and some calculation of chanses.
I love her to death; she was actually my first ever 3 star either that or BL Sinclair I can't remember. But man is she just not worth the effort. If you ever want to use her you have to sacrifice something better, either another better bleed identity or Ring Yi Sang to use BL instead. Honestly her best use case is in a bloise mirror dungeon team as she's one of the few good identities that can activate both bloody mist and lucky pouch. Here's hoping uptie 5 gives her more poise count.
My "favorite" part of early IDs is that it very much looks like as if in some early version poise only decayed on crit, it was later changed to also decay on turn end, but noone told that fact to the ID designers. That, or they assumed dual slotting would be way more common than it ended out being. The funniest thing to me is that Lobootmy Remenant Faust has a poise count condition on her passive. And the only way to activate it is to use her skill 2 on turn one, and then 3 skill 1 in a row and then, assuming you never critted at all furing this 3 turns, you get the privilage of getting 4 haste for one turn.
I find it funny how Rodya has 3 bleed ids, and all are not good. Base Rodya rolls terribly and doesn't has bleed count, N corp is even worse, and KK Rodya doesn't has any bleed count. Yet she has Sanquine Desire, a bleed ego that should have killed all bleed ego. For me, honestly, she is the third least favorite id, after old Zwei Sinclair (still odd to have to clarify which Zweiclair I don't like) and Middle Meursault, who is just so much of a wasted potential. He ain't works in md that much cuz his s3 doesn't get boost from bloody mist, the only way to actually get him to unleash full power s3 is with 7 attack skills, which means he is useless in boss battles, and he is the third worst regret abuser (after N corp and Dieci, but Dieci is cool)
