【Synopsis】After falling in love with genius programmer Jiang Yicheng, Lu Li enrolls into the school he once studied at, and also took up the same major - calculus. I am proud of Yicheng that he is not giving up on Lu li. He is enjoying his time to spend with her. He is getting better person
I love how Yicheng's father shared his love experience with Yicheng to encourage him not to give up on trying to get Lu Li back. It shows listening to your parents can be helpful, especially when you are in a hopeless situation. Jingwen is being the best boss and friend. He is taking some undeserved punches because of misunderstandings.(lol) Love how Yicheng has matured and become more serious in his relationship with Lu Li.

@@kumicuthbertson4653 it's sad that the writers chose this route to unwind the next episodes and use a very good friend as a medium to it but that's how they want to see our reactions. In truth, some viewers will side with the FL when she said " whether it is a good or bad ending, she will accept it". If the writers wanted to prolong the series, they would have gone to a confrontation with ML and FL with the in laws. And knowing what we know now what led to the FL's decision to leave their son to the extent that she almost had a miscarriage due to his inability to protect the wife, I'm sure the in-laws will give Luli a fair hearing.
If Jiang Yichang told his family she was pregnant for someone else, I bet you his dad would not have told him to go after the girl. I agree she should test him, but not like this. In real life, her being pregnant for someone else is enough for the guy to give up on her.

Her mother was probably raised to think a good woman job is to get married, have children and take care of the home. Society influences us on how we think. Because her mom was willing to change her way of thinking and support her daughter when she saw her daughter was truly happy it makes it easier for the next generation. Unfortunately irl society is slow to change.
I constantly find Chinese dramas a real eye-opener in terms of cultural differences, especially with regard to gender! No one here would ever dream of telling a girl she wasn’t suitable for a profession unless there was a perception that was based purely on physical strength required. But also things like women shouldn’t drink cold water - I just find that strange😯
The social norms in society need to change the mindsets of older generations stereotyping. Times have change yet our parents and their cultural believes still limit us women from doing jobs we like.

He was accusing her of his close friend when she is in love with him. Each time his friend had to point things out to him. Li Lu wants to be assured of his love and sincerity for her to avoid being hurt again. Yicheng is a kind person and will help others during difficult time and there is a method to the way he does things. Li Lu needs to know that he truley loves her and is not just being kind,feeling sorry for her or trying to relieve his guilt for the way he treated her in the beginning with the contract marriage and his disregards for their marriage and her request when it came to Li Man. I have not seen the rest of the episodes but I could not resist the clips. It is worth the wait😮😄😍

I had to go and look up anti - radiation maternity wear. I had never heard of this before!
So Yicheng was a cold hearted jerk to Lu Li at the beginning of the series; therefore, sweet-smart Lu Li had her revenge and hurted him deeply by breaking his heart like he broke hers. Lu Li who is kind, the sweetest and genuine also thought that it was fine to lie to him about his child and to manipulate his emotions. Yup it makes sense! Lu Li who is smart likes to get advice about serious matter of life from her best friend who is very young and inexperienced at heart and a playboy….Okay then did I forget anything. Yicheng was jerk at the beginning but he was in love with her. I complete understand her being upset and leaving him, but I don’t think she has to lie, manipulate and be cold hearted back to him get to an happy ending.
Honestly this is just a movie cause in real life dude will set her free to be with her present boy friend.
