Yeah, he needs to get tf out of there. What happens if the kid gets mad and attacks him, or runs _him_ over? Is his wife going to call 911 or hover over him going "OK but, before I call, we have to agree that family comes first, you can't tell them he did this, you know he's going through a difficult time..."

Maybe OP’s dad should demand a paternity test on Oliver.
The younger sister also sees mommydearest’s favoritism towards Oliver.

Get a restraining order against Oliver, press charges and go No Contact with your mother

Anyone who is neutral when there is obvious victim and assailant, arent neutral, its staying silent and siding with the assailant by not standing up for the victim

Why the heck would you tell the judge you don’t know if he intended to hurt you. He hit you with a car. Intentionally. He absolutely intended to hurt you. Maybe not to the extent he did, but c’mon.

He turned the steering wheel to intentionally to make contact with Charlotte. That's attempted voluntary vehicular manslaughter, a felony, a serious charge with conviction is 7 to 15 years in prison. Oliver probably isn't her husband's child but an affair partner's child that gave her the butterflies and tingles.

      Mommydearest & auntypoo we’re intimidating a witness/victim. This is also a crime.

In the USA victims don't press charges, prosecutors do. If this story was real "OP" wouldn't have been given a choice. Also settlements are for civil cases, not criminal cases

Who said it was really in the US. Often in these stories they change Names and countries.

Jealous and pathetic haters are the absolute worst and perpetual threats as long as they live because their shady lengths are limitless and always secret sabotage behind your back.

...tf is wrong with op? What do you MEAN you dont know if he meant to hurt you? He hit you with a CAR. A. CAR.

I wouldn’t think it was up to OP to decide whether to press charges!
How did she get back to the hospital to be visited by the brother?

How did she go to the preliminary hearing and stand up in court when she should still be in traction in the hospital? IDK for sure, but I think it's because AIs don't have human limitations.

Wait a minute a father is on her side and yet the father and mother are going to disown her. Say what?
Ahhh, the impartial Aunt appears again. Where is the black van?
The defense attorney admitted that alcohol was involved when his client was driving. He should have lost his license And had a worse sentence

Mommydearest was lying about what dad said. Witness/victim intimidation is also a crime.

Why your father stayed married to your mother I will never understand. Basically your mother would have been OK with Oliver unaliving you. Disgusting

I'm not going to lie Oliver is an absolute piece of shit but Opie did kind of provoke him by going after him. WHY THE HELL would they go after him especially when they know they're the lead cause of his aggravation?
