Saw Big Richard Friday night in Houston. Blew me away. I knew nothing about them, but watching them I knew I wanted to seek out some solo works by each, and indeed encouraged them to do solo work during the intermission (they were opening for Molly Tuttle). Totally embarrassed myself. I couldn't decide if they were some twisted version of Madman Across the Water (without the keyboards),or a stringed version of Metallica. They are so much more than either. What a JOY!
They just played Ossippee Music Festival here in Maine. Amazing show, truly incredible musicians, stage presence unmatched. If you ever get a chance to see them go you will have a blast. 143 you ladies highlight of my summer🤩💖❣🦩🍀🎼🎼
To do List (1:28) - written on the ski lift ... would've liked to have been on that lift. and Hero Corn (1:52:20) ... as a backcountry skier, I just love me some virgin corn. "Royals" ... I think they should do Weird Al's parody, "Foil". I saw these 4 women about 4 months after this show - they played a different set of songs for the most part and had a bit wilder vibe. Covered Britney Spears - Toxic and Radiohead - Creep. They were selling BIG Richard dick picks at the merch table. I think Zappa would have approved. Yonder Mt referred to them as "scary". They are lots of fun. I'm looking to see them in action again.
These folks are a study in being a band. They make amazing music.
I’ve watched this like 30 times
