Man, I remember how innocent and fun Meepcity was when I was younger. It was the first game my siblings and I played when we joined Roblox, and it’s sad to see it didn’t age well.

I really loved the genre of parties in Meepcity that was just video game/cartoon cosplay parties where you could easily meet up with other people who like the things you like and just hang out and roleplay together. It sucked when they removed the party genres so you couldn’t separate the gaming parties from all the gross ones, and then they just removed parties entirely. I miss being able to easily find other cosplayers for things I like. But it was probably for the best with how out of hand it was getting.
I'm really sad cause I stopped playing meepcity. I had a family rp and it just fell apart, for now, I don't have any friends to talk to now. It's getting really boring ever since the parties are gone I met a best friend of mine at a parties but we stopped talking and I'm pretty sure they unfriend me. I'll try playing meepcity and see some old friends of mine I haven't played ever since New Years
Meep City was the absolute best during 2016-2017. No weird parties or anything like that. I remember spending hours playing mini games for coins to decorate my house. I wish I could re-live it.
i grew up playing meepcity as it was one of the only popular games around at the time. it's seriously insane to see how much it's changed, and if the creator had better moderation over the game that would be amazing and would give him way more players i miss when the game was wholesome and fun :( it's sad to see a game like this die out
I actually really miss the parties. Obviously not for the gross stuff, but mainly because of one’s Ive found with cool people, me and my friends trolling others. We would troll people by dressing up our avatars weirdly (not anything inappropriate, just really weird) and annoying people (the bad people) and I always loved how entertaining it was for me. I’ve always actually liked Meep City since the early stages of it, because I would roleplay with people. Like pretend to be someone’s parent, and they are my kid or baby. I used to like pretending to adopt babies and kids, and I always had a bunch of beds in one room, while another room is mine. It brings me so much nostalgia thinking about it. But now it’s ruined
I played meepcity in its prime - 2016. It was my favourite game when I was a kid, putting the old accessories on the little round things and naming them stupid things. I used to love going fishing and meeting new people to play with. Some of the parties in the past were genuinely innocent, a SpongeBob party I went to a few years ago was hilarious; but I found a room with beds next to each other and people saying extremely questionable stuff in them. Sucks to see what stuff happened to this game.
It's really sad to see such a great game die out, I loved MeepCity, but every time I join it it feels like I'm playing with bots or soemthing, everybody just stands around, or there is just argueing. In 2016 or 2017 when I first played it, people wanted to roleplay and have fun. I feel like the game got overdevoleped in a way too, I miss the classic Meepcity. :/

I used to play meep city when around 2017-2018 during the time when "slenders" are quite rare. It feels very disappointing to see people abusing the system during late 2020-2022. It was an amazing game which brought plenty of happy memories. I used to spend all day long just on this game, grinding coins or hanging out with different players. I wish this game can be something like brookhaven in order to get more players + having less "slenders". Rip legend, meep city
Im going to be honest i used to play this A LOT basically every day with my friends and most of them i actually met through a meepcity party server this was years ago. The good memories with this game honestly happened in 2020 all the way back to when it was created i stopped playing towards the end of 2021 and all throughout 2022 and just a couple months ago i joined the game after SO long. I saw my friends (ones i made on meepcity not on the actual website) and they also stopped playing for ages i actually hardly remembered them those who i did remember i started thinking of the memories with them, all the roleplays we did and it made me a bit sad to see that they dont come on anymore and if they did they probably wouldnt remember me. People honestly ruined meepcity thats one of the reasons why i stopped playing the other reason was they took away the only thing that really made meepcity popular, u could find so many friends from parties but people just used it in the worst way to the point where it was forced to be removed. I dont even want to play it anymore its not fun to me. This is really sad.

it's seriously impressive on how meepcity still averages about 20,000-30,000 players daily considering all of the incidents that have happened; the game has gotten hacked twice, a player hacked guns into the game and shot everyone when the party feature was still around, roblox has banned the game, parties got removed and the massive amount of oders in general.

I think the main person people left and stopped playing was because they removed the parties, some people genuinely enjoyed them and used to do character or oc role-plays or family role-plays and some of them just used them to bypass rules
It had so much potential and it was genuinely a fun game for a long time, I remember getting into fights with randoms over stupid stuff for no reason, i rlly wish the game didn’t die out like this
I use to play meepcity a lot and I had this one fond memory. I was in the pizza shop with my wife, don't ask, and we saw a disabled man in there and my wife got super worried. I was wondering why and she finally told me she was dating him. I staggered out of the pizza place and left the game. I was crying about it all day.
I also used to be an online dater when i was young you see i had this feeling for a boy but he deserted me by just telling him that i dont want to quit playing t or d he got angry unfriended me and left lol i cried so much
It's sad to see that one of the most popular games would just start to meet its end tragically. It's a shame that kid's also play Meepcity and to see such things, influencing them to do the same in a way.
I grew up with meep city..its really sad to see what people did with the game 😕 I really hope people stop at one point but tbh it never will..i remember earning coins by the mini games and decorating my house with every coin I had 😞 good times
the memories i had in meepcity are insane. i remember going on it everyday from 2019-2021 and playing with a friend group that's long gone by now. from my experience, the meepcity parties weren't that bad. there was definitely VERY questionable things in lots of parties i joined, but the few fnaf parties i would play in were nice
its still kinda fun but the oders are kinda getting worse and ppl say slurs everywhere i still fish and make money for my house but thats the only thing i do there talking to ppl there sucks
Gotta admit, the Roblox communtiy is spoiled asf. Getting a chance to have a private party to chill with your friends just turned into something disgusting.
Back in 2017-2019, I played all the time. I had a great house and would always adopt kids or be a kid. Now when I try and roleplay there, everyone is just designing an outfit and not a single person wants to role-play. They just walk around, like they're not real people. Kind of scares me and makes me sad :(
What is REALLY funny to me,is how Slenders,C&P,Online daters,etc. literally played inappropriate music and made inappropriate houses and then complain why parties got removed.
I used to join anime parties awhile back and honestly they were a lot of fun. I enjoyed dressing up my character and roleplaying with other fans. It's a shame it came to be like this the game had a lot of potential the developers just didn't care enough. Still salty about purchasing premium just for all of my friends to go offline and all the fun parties turn into *this*.

I remember how I met some of my online best friends on there thought FNaF parties we would role-play as security guards surviving the nights. So much fun. Now in the present day we can’t do anything without being judged on there or inappropriate names and stuff, bypassed shirts and everything. Whenever we play meep we immediately go to one of each others backyards and I had people teleporting to me and when I asked them to leave they would just invite their friends over and not let me do anything:( it’s insane how much this game change and be infested with ODers.

This describes how I've always felt about meepcity music. This music is deeper than the fnaf lore I'm stunned by this fact too. This is positively the most beautiful this I've ever heard. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. The meep singing this has changed my life for the better. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece, I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the song go loop in my head countless times. it absolutely moved my soul, and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state, I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. So much great graphic design, so much suspense, so much greatness in this one video. I have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. Meepcity was a large part of my childhood when I was 9-12 years old and I will forever be sad about the path it has gone down… I used to play everyday and save up and had a meep named lulu. I lived there with my friends and constantly went down to the ice cream shop to sit and chat with them.
i genuinely miss playing and meeting fun people with the same interests as me in FNF parties , cookie run parties , madness combat parties and other cosplaying parties :/ sadly they removed it :(
This game was one of the best considering I joined in 2018. I remember I would always use to cosplay as some random video game or cartoonish character and I would just go to the meep city parties and just have a good time. Always use to play for hours to grind coins to make my own party. This game is just so hollow and soulless now. It’s like watching a close relative or a dog die slowly and painfully knowing that it can never recover from what it’s been through. This is one of the first roblox games I got addicted to as a child. On my old account I still have a fully furnished castle from 2018... It's pretty much how I started learning English. I remember how excited I was for the school update and I would spend so many coins on my meep, my house and flowers. I didnt go to parties much but when I did I only looked at people's furnitures lol I also remember buying Albertsstuff's poster without even knowing who he was simply because I liked the picture..

This is genuinely sad. This was first game I played my first day on Roblox. I was 7 years old. I hadn’t even made an account yet, I was playing as a guest. It’s so heartbreaking to see a piece of my childhood ripped apart piece by piece.

Both the accounts have weird games on their profiles (marycrush00 and dragoxtx) The girl one has this game called “I confess” which sounds cool but its just a baseplate with some noob models saying that she’s done really bad things. What’s also weird is that in it you have some wooden cross gear. Same thing with one of Dragoxtx’s games titled “Grass”. So obviously at this point I was like, “Oh, they are myths”. But then I went through their other games (both of the accounts only have like three) and it was both just your generic crappy roblox kids content with admin and rainbow friends n stuff. In other words, they both have myth qualities but at the same time they both feel like regular accounts. That’s really not much of a conclusion, but idk what else to say. I first played meepcity in 2019, I was one of the many people who created parties, yet my parties were detailed and based off of a fandom I was into at the time, whether that be fnaf, undertale or dreamcore based I was extremely passionate about building and showing off my builds by making parties, and I was fairly well known getting 6000 likes, it hurt when parties went as so many people who spent so much time building the houses and showing them off in the form of parties would all go to waste. I know that it was for the greater good as the community overall was toxic and disgusting, but it still hurt to see it go.

yeah the undertale ones, after the parties were removed in meepcity I slowly moved away from undertale too, causing all my friends to forget about me as I started getting into other fandoms.

I remember this game so well. I used to try and save up my money for all the new houses because I thought it looked cool. Being invited to a party and customizing. your own house. Everyone actually was nice and pretty chill.
Meepcity use to be a fun family role-play, it's extremely sad that it's dying out. It used to be a fun game to socialize and have fun, a lot of people would have fun there and dress up. I don't care if the fashion there was bad, we actually had fun there but now its just dying because of the players deciding to make it inappropriate. something that really annoyed me is that every time i wanted to friend someone, it would go through with meepcity's own special friend request button, and for some reason, it never got through and it wouldn't let me friend them outside of meepcity. that has happened on so many occasions.
Honestly this is just sad. I use to play this game a lot back in 2017 it’s sad to see its down fall. Alex should have taken down the party feature way earlier as soon as he found out about how people are doing inappropriate things using the party feature then maybe this wouldn’t have happened.
i remember how bad the parties were, they fixed the problem a bit by removing the ability to add titles to them but before that i remember how disgusting some people were. Im glad they finally got rid of them. I actually used to thrive in Meepcity when I was younger wearing some cringe costume most the time, but it was nice, sometime around 20 19-20 I stopped playing to widen my collection of games to play, and a good chunk of what I found continues to be some of the best games I play. Then I revisited the game in 2021. And it was dark, the joy and wholesomeness that used to be the entire game had become sour and it was quite similar to what this video was. I then joined back in late March 2022 and My friend who would always be in parties was sitting in the main lobby, the second I walked over they told me parties had been removed a while back and my friend started playing Meepcity less and less, telling me the game “ wasn’t the same” and “lost its touch” and I feel bad, I’ve always played games that only have a small following but Meepcity was always a game that felt lively only because it used to always have like 60k people seeing it fall so far upsets me even today near a year after the incident in 2022. And it disappeared from my “ continue playing” bar and eventually disappeared completely. A different Friend I have visited Meepcity to see if parties ever returned and they said they might stop checking because it saddens them, they used to host parties 24/7 and they told me their huge house now felt empty and dull. That’s all I wanted to say. I dont care if nobody read this. Knowing I admitted my disappointment in this game helped me cope with its shrinkage in popularity and its now empty and dull gameplay, It has truly lost it all.

As the first game I played as a roblox player, I really feel sad how its coming to an end. Me and my friends always played this game and the best part was the the pizzeria where we had to make and deliver pizzas. It taught us how money works.

As someone who actually played Meep City, I was completely unaware of this incident back when I played. I never actually saw anything, besides maybe a few profile pictures, but briefly. I only joined the Gaming parties and that was the good side of the community.
When I parties were still around in Meepcity, I would set up a party to LOOK like something "bad" but ACTUALLY decorate it with the most disturbing thing I could come up with- Red and black walls and floors, ear-piercing static and screams, jail cells, random plushies scattered about, etc. And as soon as someone joined my friends and I would circle around the player and chant "Join us in the light room" Basically what the "Light room" was, was this one room in the back of the house FILLED with lamps, to the point it's literally blinding and you can't even see your own avatar unless it was fully black. It was fun to see people immediately leave. But now the parties are over I just dress up in ugly outfits and harass people by stealing their pizza or I crash people's roleplays. They hate it and it starts arguments, it's fun when you're bored.
a few days ago me and my 7yo sister was playing meepcity in the school, I remember seeing something so inappropriate I told my sister that we have to leave to school asap. It’s so upsetting that the game I grew up with has just been destroyed by toxicity and inappropriate stuff.

Meep city and the original Roblox high school where my jam back in 2016. I was ten and would role play on those games for hours. It was such a nostalgic time. I know it was only seven years ago, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t much time, but it seems like ages ago. I remember when jailbreak and Pokémon brick bronze where always on the front page. I remember when meep city used to be that game. It’s a little sad to see it go. Honestly kinda laughing at myself getting sad over Roblox. But it is genuinely bittersweet.
This is a little late, but I remember when I'd join meep city, and I'd see tons of nice looking avatars tending to their home, meeps, and just roleplaying. Ever since Oders, Slenders, and Copy and Pastes were created, Meepcity has was destined to fall, I knew that it would be dead soon, but it genuinly hurts me knowing that my childhood is being destroyed.
Whenever I play meepcity it feels like wherever you go everyone would judge you based on your appearance it’s also pretty hard tryna make friends in meepcity because it’s js gonna get awkward and that friendship would only last a minute

Those parties were my whole childhood. My sister and I made lots of memories while being on them. I do get why they did remove the parties but it was a huge chunk of my childhood that was taken.
I remember in this game I used to host detailed SCP roleplays, Where essentially I had entire communities and returning party goers as well as admins. Unfortunately due to the party problems we were rarely chosen and eventually this happened and for some months I mourned the loss of a lot of hard work, Trust me there were some impressive builds.
If you ever find another game to bring that back on that honestly sounds like such a cool idea! I’d love to see more stuff like that. Some games that you can have something like that on if you ever wanna do it again (and private servers are quite cheap) would be Misfits High (thought Misfits doesn’t have any map customization, it’s just a roleplay game.), Welcome to Bloxburg (no real character customization though, bout the same level as Meepcity), Roville (same character customization issue as bloxburg/meepcity), or Robloxian High School. (In-depth character customization, very advanced, a party feature, and pretty customizable houses. It’s very easy to farm as well.). Though RH has the same online dating issue that Meepcity has, I feel like you don’t see it nearly as much. You can also use kingdom rp games. But if you do end up bringing it back, if you wanna make a vid on it, I’d love to join something like that or similar to that! It sounds like a super cool idea.

Maybe he could have added a reporting/votekick system where you can report parties and with enough votes, it would delete the party, and make the player unable to create another party in that server. And with the votekicking, you could votekick players.
at first i actually liked the parties, i would look for profile photos that were cosplays and usually there would be a roleplay or a hangout, it got too out of hand tho

I really loved the genre of parties in Meepcity that was just video game/cartoon cosplay parties where you could easily meet up with other people who like the things you like and just hang out and roleplay together.
It sucked when they removed the party genres so you couldn’t separate the gaming parties from all the gross ones, and then they just removed parties entirely. I miss being able to easily find other cosplayers for things I like.
But it was probably for the best with how out of hand it was getting.
I'm really sad cause I stopped playing meepcity.
I had a family rp and it just fell apart, for now, I don't
have any friends to talk to now.
It's getting really boring ever since the parties are gone I met a best friend of mine at a parties but we stopped talking and I'm pretty sure they unfriend me.

i grew up playing meepcity as it was one of the only popular games around at the time. it's seriously insane to see how much it's changed, and if the creator had better moderation over the game that would be amazing and would give him way more players

I actually really miss the parties. Obviously not for the gross stuff, but mainly because of one’s Ive found with cool people, me and my friends trolling others. We would troll people by dressing up our avatars weirdly (not anything inappropriate, just really weird) and annoying people (the bad people) and I always loved how entertaining it was for me. I’ve always actually liked Meep City since the early stages of it, because I would roleplay with people. Like pretend to be someone’s parent, and they are my kid or baby. I used to like pretending to adopt babies and kids, and I always had a bunch of beds in one room, while another room is mine. It brings me so much nostalgia thinking about it. But now it’s ruined
I played meepcity in its prime - 2016. It was my favourite game when I was a kid, putting the old accessories on the little round things and naming them stupid things. I used to love going fishing and meeting new people to play with. Some of the parties in the past were genuinely innocent, a SpongeBob party I went to a few years ago was hilarious; but I found a room with beds next to each other and people saying extremely questionable stuff in them. Sucks to see what stuff happened to this game.

It's really sad to see such a great game die out, I loved MeepCity, but every time I join it it feels like I'm playing with bots or soemthing, everybody just stands around, or there is just argueing. In 2016 or 2017 when I first played it, people wanted to roleplay and have fun. I feel like the game got overdevoleped in a way too, I miss the classic Meepcity. :/

I used to play meep city when around 2017-2018 during the time when "slenders" are quite rare. It feels very disappointing to see people abusing the system during late 2020-2022. It was an amazing game which brought plenty of happy memories. I used to spend all day long just on this game, grinding coins or hanging out with different players. I wish this game can be something like brookhaven in order to get more players + having less "slenders". Rip legend, meep city

Im going to be honest i used to play this A LOT basically every day with my friends and most of them i actually met through a meepcity party server this was years ago. The good memories with this game honestly happened in 2020 all the way back to when it was created i stopped playing towards the end of 2021 and all throughout 2022 and just a couple months ago i joined the game after SO long. I saw my friends (ones i made on meepcity not on the actual website) and they also stopped playing for ages i actually hardly remembered them those who i did remember i started thinking of the memories with them, all the roleplays we did and it made me a bit sad to see that they dont come on anymore and if they did they probably wouldnt remember me. People honestly ruined meepcity thats one of the reasons why i stopped playing the other reason was they took away the only thing that really made meepcity popular, u could find so many friends from parties but people just used it in the worst way to the point where it was forced to be removed. I dont even want to play it anymore its not fun to me. This is really sad.
Who remembers when meep city was just a regular game you would play with your cousins and friends and just overall have fun and now its just another OD cesspool ☹️

it's seriously impressive on how meepcity still averages about 20,000-30,000 players daily considering all of the incidents that have happened; the game has gotten hacked twice, a player hacked guns into the game and shot everyone when the party feature was still around, roblox has banned the game, parties got removed and the massive amount of oders in general.

I think the main person people left and stopped playing was because they removed the parties, some people genuinely enjoyed them and used to do character or oc role-plays or family role-plays and some of them just used them to bypass rules

the memories i had in meepcity are insane. i remember going on it everyday from 2019-2021 and playing with a friend group that's long gone by now. from my experience, the meepcity parties weren't that bad. there was definitely VERY questionable things in lots of parties i joined, but the few fnaf parties i would play in were nice

Back in 2017-2019, I played all the time. I had a great house and would always adopt kids or be a kid. Now when I try and roleplay there, everyone is just designing an outfit and not a single person wants to role-play. They just walk around, like they're not real people. Kind of scares me and makes me sad :(

I used to join anime parties awhile back and honestly they were a lot of fun. I enjoyed dressing up my character and roleplaying with other fans. It's a shame it came to be like this the game had a lot of potential the developers just didn't care enough. Still salty about purchasing premium just for all of my friends to go offline and all the fun parties turn into *this*.

The fact that this was the first roblox game i ever played when i started playing roblox in 2017, and seeing it go down the hill like this really hurts
I remember how I met some of my online best friends on there thought FNaF parties we would role-play as security guards surviving the nights. So much fun. Now in the present day we can’t do anything without being judged on there or inappropriate names and stuff, bypassed shirts and everything. Whenever we play meep we immediately go to one of each others backyards and I had people teleporting to me and when I asked them to leave they would just invite their friends over and not let me do anything:( it’s insane how much this game change and be infested with ODers.

This describes how I've always felt about meepcity music. This music is deeper than the fnaf lore I'm stunned by this fact too. This is positively the most beautiful this I've ever heard. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. The meep singing this has changed my life for the better. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece, I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the song go loop in my head countless times. it absolutely moved my soul, and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state, I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. So much great graphic design, so much suspense, so much greatness in this one video. I have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. Meepcity was a large part of my childhood when I was 9-12 years old and I will forever be sad about the path it has gone down… I used to play everyday and save up and had a meep named lulu. I lived there with my friends and constantly went down to the ice cream shop to sit and chat with them.

I remember I would always use to cosplay as some random video game or cartoonish character and I would just go to the meep city parties and just have a good time. This is one of the first roblox games I got addicted to as a child. On my old account I still have a fully furnished castle from 2018... It's pretty much how I started learning English. I remember how excited I was for the school update and I would spend so many coins on my meep, my house and flowers. I didnt go to parties much but when I did I only looked at people's furnitures lol

Both the accounts have weird games on their profiles (marycrush00 and dragoxtx) The girl one has this game called “I confess” which sounds cool but its just a baseplate with some noob models saying that she’s done really bad things. What’s also weird is that in it you have some wooden cross gear. Same thing with one of Dragoxtx’s games titled “Grass”.
So obviously at this point I was like, “Oh, they are myths”. But then I went through their other games (both of the accounts only have like three) and it was both just your generic crappy roblox kids content with admin and rainbow friends n stuff.
In other words, they both have myth qualities but at the same time they both feel like regular accounts. That’s really not much of a conclusion, but idk what else to say. Check it out yourself if you feel like figuring it out, I guess.

I first played meepcity in 2019, I was one of the many people who created parties, yet my parties were detailed and based off of a fandom I was into at the time, whether that be fnaf, undertale or dreamcore based I was extremely passionate about building and showing off my builds by making parties, and I was fairly well known getting 6000 likes, it hurt when parties went as so many people who spent so much time building the houses and showing them off in the form of parties would all go to waste. I know that it was for the greater good as the community overall was toxic and disgusting, but it still hurt to see it go.

Meepcity use to be a fun family role-play, it's extremely sad that it's dying out. It used to be a fun game to socialize and have fun, a lot of people would have fun there and dress up. I don't care if the fashion there was bad, we actually had fun there but now its just dying because of the players deciding to make it inappropriate. It's really sad because it was a childhood to me, a fun one.

something that really annoyed me is that every time i wanted to friend someone, it would go through with meepcity's own special friend request button, and for some reason, it never got through and it wouldn't let me friend them outside of meepcity. that has happened on so many occasions.

I actually used to thrive in Meepcity when I was younger wearing some cringe costume most the time, but it was nice, sometime around 20 19-20 I stopped playing to widen my collection of games to play, and a good chunk of what I found continues to be some of the best games I play. Then I revisited the game in 2021. And it was dark, the joy and wholesomeness that used to be the entire game had become sour and it was quite similar to what this video was. I then joined back in late March 2022 and My friend who would always be in parties was sitting in the main lobby, the second I walked over they told me parties had been removed a while back and my friend started playing Meepcity less and less, telling me the game “ wasn’t the same” and “lost its touch” and I feel bad, I’ve always played games that only have a small following but Meepcity was always a game that felt lively only because it used to always have like 60k people seeing it fall so far upsets me even today near a year after the incident in 2022. And it disappeared from my “ continue playing” bar and eventually disappeared completely. A different Friend I have visited Meepcity to see if parties ever returned and they said they might stop checking because it saddens them, they used to host parties 24/7 and they told me their huge house now felt empty and dull. That’s all I wanted to say. I dont care if nobody read this. Knowing I admitted my disappointment in this game helped me cope with its shrinkage in popularity and its now empty and dull gameplay, It has truly lost it all.
i agree, all of this is really tragic. but where else would the oders be without meepcity? i would rather stuff those types of people cornered into a singular game than scattering them across every game

As the first game I played as a roblox player, I really feel sad how its coming to an end. Me and my friends always played this game and the best part was the the pizzeria where we had to make and deliver pizzas. It taught us how money works.

As someone who actually played Meep City, I was completely unaware of this incident back when I played. I never actually saw anything, besides maybe a few profile pictures, but briefly. I only joined the Gaming parties and that was the good side of the community.

When I parties were still around in Meepcity, I would set up a party to LOOK like something "bad" but ACTUALLY decorate it with the most disturbing thing I could come up with- Red and black walls and floors, ear-piercing static and screams, jail cells, random plushies scattered about, etc. And as soon as someone joined my friends and I would circle around the player and chant "Join us in the light room" Basically what the "Light room" was, was this one room in the back of the house FILLED with lamps, to the point it's literally blinding and you can't even see your own avatar unless it was fully black. It was fun to see people immediately leave. But now the parties are over I just dress up in ugly outfits and harass people by stealing their pizza or I crash people's roleplays. They hate it and it starts arguments, it's fun when you're bored.
It's kind of sad to see what happened with Meepcity, I used to RP Undertale and FNAF when I was younger and in the early times of the game

a few days ago me and my 7yo sister was playing meepcity in the school, I remember seeing something so inappropriate I told my sister that we have to leave to school asap. It’s so upsetting that the game I grew up with has just been destroyed by toxicity and inappropriate stuff.
This used to be the game I always played back from 2017-2021 :( i hate how meepcity turned out. I used to throw parties in that one castle house with pizza and slides and ball pits and popcorn and dance floors, and I wish it stayed that way, an innocent roleplay game.

Meep city and the original Roblox high school where my jam back in 2016. I was ten and would role play on those games for hours. It was such a nostalgic time. I know it was only seven years ago, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t much time, but it seems like ages ago.
I remember when jailbreak and Pokémon brick bronze where always on the front page. I remember when meep city used to be that game. It’s a little sad to see it go. Honestly kinda laughing at myself getting sad over Roblox. But it is genuinely bittersweet.

This is a little late, but I remember when I'd join meep city, and I'd see tons of nice looking avatars tending to their home, meeps, and just roleplaying. Ever since Oders, Slenders, and Copy and Pastes were created, Meepcity has was destined to fall, I knew that it would be dead soon, but it genuinly hurts me knowing that my childhood is being destroyed.
Whenever I play meepcity it feels like wherever you go everyone would judge you based on your appearance it’s also pretty hard tryna make friends in meepcity because it’s js gonna get awkward and that friendship would only last a minute
i remeber meep city being one of the first games i had played during 2017-2018 i remeber how fun it was since there was no inappropriate things going on just roleplays, playing mini games for coins, decorating my house, and waiting for updates, somthing i wish i could relive its sad to see one of the first games i had played is slowly dying

Me and my cousin really loved meepcity,it was honestly one of our favourite games,my cousin still loves the game but bc I’m getting older I haven’t been playing with her,it’s sad to know that the game is not as fun and popular,but I’m glad that I spent my childhood and time to enjoy the game while it lasted.
Those parties were my whole childhood. My sister and I made lots of memories while being on them. I do get why they did remove the parties but it was a huge chunk of my childhood that was taken.
I remember in this game I used to host detailed SCP roleplays, Where essentially I had entire communities and returning party goers as well as admins. Unfortunately due to the party problems we were rarely chosen and eventually this happened and for some months I mourned the loss of a lot of hard work, Trust me there were some impressive builds.
If you ever find another game to bring that back on that honestly sounds like such a cool idea! I’d love to see more stuff like that. Some games that you can have something like that on if you ever wanna do it again (and private servers are quite cheap) would be Misfits High (thought Misfits doesn’t have any map customization, it’s just a roleplay game.), Welcome to Bloxburg (no real character customization though, bout the same level as Meepcity), Roville (same character customization issue as bloxburg/meepcity), or Robloxian High School. (In-depth character customization, very advanced, a party feature, and pretty customizable houses. It’s very easy to farm as well.). Though RH has the same online dating issue that Meepcity has, I feel like you don’t see it nearly as much. You can also use kingdom rp games. But if you do end up bringing it back, if you wanna make a vid on it, I’d love to join something like that or similar to that! It sounds like a super cool idea.

Maybe he could have added a reporting/votekick system where you can report parties and with enough votes, it would delete the party, and make the player unable to create another party in that server. And with the votekicking, you could votekick players.

Honestly the creator should have tried to stop the online dating when it started. I am actually happy that meep city has less players because he could have kept parties if he had better moderation. I hate the fact that parties got removed because of disgusting people who many were children💀
