I've taken to a "I'll rebuy it if I need it" approach to those items 😝 A vast majority of the time, they don't get rebought 👏

I do a wardrobe decluttering once/twice a year, when changing summer/winter clothes.
Oh goodness, you have a Sprat! Keep it like gold, girl, Snapper doesn't make those anymore. I love mine (even though it doesn't work on trains.)
Good job and I bet it felt nice to go through everything so quickly because past Vogel and Jess did a great job decluttering the room last time 🎉 I'm in desperate need of decluttering my entire space, but it seems like a massive task - and adding onto this my partner is a lot less ruthless than me and wants to keep so much "just in case" 😑
Yeah we always have to be weary of the “just in case” 👀 that used to be a big hang up for me too

I dont even wanna get started on my bedroom, it and the bathroom still need a lot of work, so much so that we are going to have to rip out bathroom out entirely and remodel it completely and thats a HUGE project for another day
Oh yeah that's a many-days project 😝 This one was a half day, with the bathroom in the other half of the day 💪
The Remodel might make its way onto my Planning Channel, but who knows. ^^ I dont have a Vlogging Channel, so yeah Planning Channel it will be.
I need to declutter my room. You know how y’all just had a bunch of stuff in the hallway at the end? That is a better representation of what my room looks like, lol. Going to watch this one & your office one until I find the motivation to work on my room. 🤣
It's totally worthwhile! Going in with a plan helps, and building in natural rest points if it's going to take a while 😂💜

Consider sending any fabric items to uparrel rather then putting in the bin! They recycle fabric into a range of textiles and materials so it doesnt have to be good quality. They also recycle shoes and stuff too. Have a look at their website but theres a massive list of stuff you can send there so it doesnt just go to landfill. Obviously everyone has different capacity at different times, i had so much to get rid of when i moved last year i think some still ended up in the bin, but a good 2 boxes went to upparel so that saves a little bit.
Yeah the only things that really got thrown away were what ended up in that little bag 😝 The rest had either already been donated, or is in the process of being sold 💪💜

You guys are awesome at decluttering! Very honest about where you slack off and at the same time so effective once you get started with the purging. I Konmari’ed my closet a good while ago but am back to some of my old antics, so a Konmari is actually on my 101 things list for 2024.

This is super awesome to see and thank you for sharing! Just as an aside, have you worked out which ‘clutter bugs’ you and Vogel are? Just gives some extra tips about designs to organise to your style! I’ve started my journey of organising and decluttering so seeing how different people do it has been super helpful!

My problem is I shave so much to get rid of and kinda live out of town so finding a pick up to come get the things isn’t available. I have a truck but it would take about fifty trips what do I do. I was going to have a garage sale but the space isn’t ideal and like I said living out of the city so not much traffic.
I normally just opt to put things on FB Market Place or TradeMe with the note "buyer must pick up" (because I couldn't be bothered shipping things 😝) but we are lucky to have a few different options for donation spaces that aren't too far away 👏
@@JashiiCorrin thank you I do have some on FB but no bites on any of it. I did find a shop that’s coming tomorrow to buy the whole lot . Found on Craigslist as I was looking to see what stores in my area bought items and collections. Most of my collection is doll and doll furniture and houses. Brand new clothes and fur coats . There’s buyers for everything out there you can think of or consignment stores that will come buy and haul off. I didn’t know this or I would have done it long ago. I’m relieved . Now here is some help for you if you do videos why not do a video on what’s out there as far as selling or donating places consignment shops etc. everyone has cleaning and organizing so why not continue the process for people. I hope this helps you if your interested that is. Thank you for all your help what comes around goes around and there is an answer for everything impossible you just have to look. Hope this also helps some viewers with my same problem.
Great job!! I did an extreme declutter a couple of years ago, I ended decluttering even my bedside tables! (I repurposed them as my makeup desk 😊)
But I think that I need another declutter, my husband needs it expecially for all his clothes and underwear 😅
Worth doing 👏 I don't know if I could ever fully part with my bedside tables, but I certainly want an upgrade 😂
