Yea I never considered a Lumix until I started looking at the s5iix. That made me change my mind on the R5c. You get so much for the price. The hdmi lag is the one thing I am hung up on.
Great video Armando. I had a question myself. I only have enough money to invest in two of the Arles primes at the moment. Which two would you grab first? I want to see if your choices are similar to mine. Id greatly appreciate your input!
14mm and 40mm. The 14 is so damn good, I love the wide angle look. You can get so many awesome shots with that lens and the 40mm pretty much covers everything in between.
2 Things 1) The end of this video is me at social gatherings when my social battery runs out. I just leave, no warning or nothing lol 2) I noticed you talked about the new pyxis but will you ever on your channel talk about the C400 or C80 or you just done talking about canon all together? Because you a couple others that I follow who are very pro sony are ignoring canon all together. And it sucks because I like seeing the comparisons (I'm still getting the C400) but I like seeing the comparisons with those cams from others in the field prefer working with other brands to get their opinions too.
Sadly Canon can't take criticism so they no longer send out cameras to review. I'm not going to buy a C400 or a C80 to make a video, financially it makes no sense. As much as UA-cam is awesome it's not going to pay for itself to make that purchase and it's a camera system I personally wouldn't use, not because it's a bad camera I'm just heavily invested in E-Mount lenses and don't own any RF. So to answer you question I doubt I'll be making videos on those cameras.
Not exactly what you mean by your question, do you mean can they be used in professional applications? If that's what you're asking then the answer is yes.
The lumix Bs1h is that camera, has the same sensor of the mirrorless S1h but in a cinema box camera, and the sensor of the S1h is better than the S5IIX because of the Low pass filter and better colors similar to the varicams

I think you can throw a rock these days and get something great with about 12 stops, and that's been around for about 4-5 years now.. I've been patient however, because Panasonic is gonna release the S1H2 (sometime in my lifetime) and just crush them all. - Especially if they implement internal ND.
Body style, the layout sucks on S5II It was clearly designed with photo in mind first and video second even thought it's epic for video and good for photos. LUMIX just needs to make a box camera period.

@@AdamkhannnSony does not care, just look at the A1 II. They have a big market share, the FX3 is already good and still sale. There is no urge and…when you look at the A1 II…you know that the FX3 today will be the same as now with a AI chip for AF.
It's worked great for me and have been told by hundreds if not thousands of people online that they love my color grade so I must be doing something right. 🤷🏽♂

Not exactly, the FX3 is just in a small box body with video features in mind like dedicated video buttons that make sense like White Balance, Multiple Record Buttons, XLR Top Handle, Tally Lights, Etc. The LUMIX S5IIX focuses on photo first then video, ergonomically it's a photo camera first and video second. FX3 is a video camera first and even though you can take photos it clearly wasn't designed with photo in mind.
@ the only thing the fx3 is missing from a mirrorless body is the evf. It’s not a box style camera. It’s closer in design to the a7s3 than the fx6. They’re both ergonomically in a photo style body. So I’m speaking on the body design only, not features. LUMIX sells an audio top handle, that matches up the fx3 handle. LUMIX had shutter angle, waveforms before the fx3 not to mention open gate and more anamorphic support which are all video 1st features. But true the fx3 does have tally lights. I have yet to see anyone buy the s5iix for its photo features 1st but yea it’s a hybrid camera technically. I was speaking on you saying you don’t want to rig it up when in actually people rig up the fx3, that’s all. And you saying the fx3 is a small body which the s5iix is. So again speaking on the body design only.

I use my FX3 many times without a cage because I can rig it to spots that are not possible with the S5IIX without a cage. Also the XLR module is not the same, the FX3 is a top handle like many cinema cameras not a module that you’re just shoe horning on. Yes, you’re right the S5IIX has amazing video features which again prove my point that it’s silly that they make it into a photo style body. Even the Menu on FX3 is way better and is dedicated for video instead of photo which is why FX3 is IMO is more video focused than photo which
I had a preorder in on a Pyxis and owned a couple of full frame BMCCs, but that sensor proved to be too limiting and I shifted into Sony FX. If you have loads of light to work with all the time then BM is great, I do all of my editing in Resolve and BRAW is easy to work with but when you have to shoot in the real world without a gaffer, then Sony all the way.
I do say Q&A it’s on the title of the video! I also said at the very beginning of the video and answer the very first question on the title unlike other people who drag it on and literally put it as the last question. Don’t like it don’t watch it nobody is forcing you too and no need to announce you leaving this isn’t an airport and nobody cares 🤣

FX3 - 2 might be years away, I really don't think Sony is coming out with a Mark II anytime soon but that's just my opinion.
