Yes, I'm playing my backed up UMD on PPSSPP emulator. The PvP mod includes several quality of life fixes including the standard slowdown removal patch. The slowdown patch can be applied on its own too, it's easy to find with a Google search 👌
I definitely recommend getting your UMD backed up if you have the means, being able to connect with other players on modern hardware has breathed new life into the game.

@@TacticsLive what do you mean exactly by backed up? Do you mean the save file?
I have the WOTL as a digital download right now currently on my ps vita.
When you backup your UMD to your PC you are creating a disc image of the UMD, which is a digital copy.
With this ISO file you can apply mods and patches and change the game file. I'm not sure you can do this with the Vita, I would search around the internet for clues as I don't have one and am not sure how that copy of the game works. 😅

Has squire been reworked? How does it function in pvp?
Oh yes, big rework on the Squire and Fundaments! They have a much wider equipment selection, 5 move, and innate Reequip, making them a utility melee fighter. Fundaments gets improvements to Focus and Salve, and gets added abilities.
It's funny to say, but true, that Squires are actually competitive in PVP with the Tactics League mod! 💪
@@TacticsLive That is insane. I really like that. Reminds me of how in Pokemon battles how mew can learn all moves but have essentially lower stats overall.
