Tinkaton isn’t the strongest by any means, but she’s very versatile. Giving her high atk without dropping anything else would make her completely broken. She’s balanced, and quite possibly my favorite mon from this Gen
@@greatshot.productions I decided to use new Pokemon only. She took care of my Steel and Fairy types rather well. Especially since Flutter Mane is post game and Kingambit is a pain to evolve.

@@vkrunk7 I raid with friends that bring light screen, hurricane misses often and I use the new ability shield item in raids where I can't afford to lose my ability. The only frustrating thing about Zard is the hp glitch.

I absolutely adore Dudunsparce because the entire design is just “what if Dunsparce but more”. Dude has more wings, more chin spikes, more segments, a second tiny drill atop its existing drill, and even a second line on his eyes. It’s fantastic.
Plus the existence of a rare Dududunsparce with a third segment is just amazing.

I feel you just looked at based stats without taking into consideration typing/ability/move pool. With Dachsbun its ability gives it a fire immunity that raises its defense if hit by a fire move. That's pretty damn good if you ask me. As far as Tinkaton there are two types of people. Those who sleep on it because of its 75 att stat and those who actually play it and know what a beast it can be.

Agreed. All of these videos giving takes on the worst mons are so facepalm. Like bro you don't even know what the fuck you're talking about. Tinkaton doesn't have a huge attacking stat but it's a fantastic pivot with it's typing and gigaton hammer hard carries it.
Hell naw, if anything Tinkaton was overlooked at the start. She's actually a very nice pick in competitive, especially doubles, on top of her amazing typing.
Dudunsparce is single-handedly the greatest concept Pokémon has ever released. Fans were begging for a dunsparce evolution for YEARS to the point where hearing about it was getting kind of REDUNDANT. Hence why I believe they made just a bigger dunsparce and made it a pun off of the word redundant.

I think dudunsparce is game freak trying to say "shut up we heard you but you nagged for too long" and gave us dudunsparce, we did get what we wanted and dudunsparce is funny

Dudunsparce is honestly perfect. GF could a gone with the intense serpentine dragon designs, wyrm designs, big doofy dragon designs, or even something else entirely because of how much potential our little Tsuchinoko has, but it just getting bigger is honestly hilarious and I could see a baby Zygarde set with Boomburst, Roost, Glare, and Calm Mind being amazingly fun to use.

@@yaboidragonitehere1137 Serene Grace is USUALLY a perfect ability on any Pokemon, but since Dudunsparce main niche is utilizing its newfound access to STAB Boomburst, I just run Rattled for when I Tera Fairy or get Intimidated.
Dudunsparce has a 10/10 design. Dunsparce is a 10/10 so it just getting bigger is both hilarious and it doesn't ruin perfection.

Tinkaton isnt at all dissapointing. Sure its main attack stat isnt the greatest but its OP type combo (the best type combo in all of pokemon) and the fact that it learns a move that has 160 power with the only drawback is you can use it twice in a row is INSANE.
Edit: Also WolfyVGC used it in his playthrough team and if a world champion thinks its viable it definitely is.

I’m a casual player, but my Dachsbun (named Bork Doggo) actually has an attack boosting nature and Play Rough, so he’s carried me through along with my Salazzle (named Andromda). Those two have been ASTRONOMICALLY useful
i dunno, my Dachsbun is a real champ on my team. in this gen, i find that my team gets demolished a lot, and he's usually the last one standing right next to my Garganacl.
same here, I used my starter for the first part of the game. Then I started using Dachsbun to clean sweep the rest of the game.
I LOVE Dachsbun. Such a cutie and has an amazing ability to boot. Although, I will say that it’s name should’ve been Puptart, HOWEVER, I can just name mine that lol
Dachsbun is a Fire absorbing Fairy type that might come in handy against the Dragon tera type Charizard raid coming up.

I’m running Swords Dance on my Tink and that’s been pretty fun. But it can also run screens, stealth rock, or Thunderwave. It’s a pretty versatile ‘mon overall.

Dudunsparce is honestly peak. They took perfection and elongated it. This along with Firagiraf has to be my favorites for old pokemon getting new evos.
As well as making him a beast. Legit didn’t expect them to make Dundunsparce as huge as they did. That combined with the amazing name and you got the best Pokémon to come out of this generation.
For me this is the ranking of new evolutions:
1. Farigiraf (the best)
2. Kingambit
3. Annihilape
4. Dudunsparce (i dont dislike but i preffer the others)

Dudunsparce was made for the sole purpose of videos like this to come up off it. They know that fans have been wanting it and they know of all the fanarts. It is very obviously a troll and a double-down on the whole "pokemon evolution is just the original pokemon but more/bigger" by Gamefreak, and that is why I friggin love it. They even proceed to add fuel to the fire by giving it another form, and its just Du+dudunsparce. Despite that it's still a decent Pokemon for battle, and its signature move is hella broken.
The dunsparce evolution is so bad I thought I got the mandela effect and remembered what it looked like wrong.
Dachsbun is gonna come in clutch for those Charizard raids tomorrow tho.

I remember beefing up my tinkaton with many feathers to its limit and just to safe so she wouldn't get knocked out so fast I had her hold a Rocky Helmet so every physical attack does damage to the foe. Saved her many times
Tinkaton having a lower attack stat is to not allow it to be another Zacian, which it would be if its attack was 100 of higher
Okay but hear me out; I solo'ed the Poison car with a Dachsbun. I had been swept by Atticus and fully expected to lose but SOMEHOW Bunnie (what I named mine) managed to single-handedly save me from getting the tar beat out of me. (What happened was I was smart and put Mud Slap on her and lowered the accuracy so much that when I did get hit I was usually safe to take a turn to heal.)
Ngl, I kinda enjoy having the bagel dog in my pokemon team, just because I mainly put speed, defense, and attack to it. It's kinda like the second last resort in case my main pokemon goes down, my first being the grass goat depending on the leader I'm battling

I agree with the Dauchbun hp, but I LOVE the “fire proof” ability, especially for the team star fire squad base.

Some of these pokemon are just meant to be the ones that go to your team in the adventure briefly till you find something better anyway (Not dudunsparce tho I kept him till the end he ma boi)

Nah tinkaton has a great move set for utility and doubles. That thing will be a monster with also having arguably the best typing in the game to boot.
GameFreak is afraid to make another OP Steel/Fairy, after they made Zacian last gen..........only for them to nerf both it's Atk stat and it's ability the next gen

not you taking shots at 2 of my favorite mons this gen. dachsbun was level 42 helping me attack wild Pokemon at level 60+
charm for attack debuff and lick paralysis made it so useful
I dunno Veluza and Dachsbun where good in my team :0 Dachsbun has access to charme and the move that raised attack and special attack(forgot the english name of the move) plus its basically immune to fire. Veluza is a little risky that's true but it can do some damage without boosting too 👀

Love Tinkaton but can’t even imagine using it competitively in higher tiers, some said give it huge power but that would be extremely broken imagine 160 base move + stab + Tera + huge power plus it’s special bulk

Tinkaton is an incredible Pokémon. Though its attack stat leaves much to be desired, it HAS the stats to fill that hole- with one of the best defensive typings in the game- it’s a specially defensive monster with pretty good HP and Def stats, making it an incredible bulky support Pokémon. Especially since it gets fake out and thunder wave, it can be used to disrupt early set up opponents. Its mold breaker ability will let it paralyze pokemon like Goldengo and Garganacl and it’ll still be able to use fake out on anything with a priority stopping ability. Tera water will also negate two of its weaknesses. I have also found that, while playing showdown, Gigaton hammer is just strong enough to do massive damage regardless of its attack stat.

Tinkaton is not the only pokemon to use vitamins lol. Just put Proteins on smth faster and with a better attack stat, like Garchomp. And if you run into someone who used vitamins to buff their HP and Defense, good luck breaking that wall.
What are you on about for Tinkaton? It's got an amazing typing, has access to stuff like Thunder Wave, Stealth Rock, and Fake Out, along with being able to outspeed and outlast quite a few mons. People just really wanted this thing to solo the entire game with one move and whined about it on Twitter from the stat leaks, but it's pretty good as is.
75 attack is low its fun to setup SD with but better off running another mon. Very cool mon though
Most of these mons are really good, you didn't even say a word about their abilities which most of them have amazing ones also setting up Isn't as necessary as make seem like.
In terms of the official vgc format of course, if you're talking 6 on 6 single battle combat then yes setting up is essential.
Not all of them in fact a few of them looked like a 3 year old designed them.
Tinkaton finds some pretty good use in raids though, especially with her typing and her supporting moves.
Start with Swords Dance, use Gigaton Hammer, and then use Helping Hand or a cheer, then repeat Gigaton Hammer
She's really solid with that
Or do what flygonHG did and use gigaton, protect, and leftovers.
the only thing disappointing about Dudunsparce is the fact that Three Segment Form is a form instaed of a stage of his own: Dududunsparce

You underestimate the Tinkaton. It’s a ferocious little monster that can be nearly impossible to safely switch in against unless you have Hippowdon or Dondozo.
And Hippowdon has to be weary of Ice Hammer sets.
That gave all these regional glow ups and everyone was like “but Dunsparce?” And GameFreak was like “no. I don’t think I will.

It really doesn’t make sense for a literal hammer wielding Pokémon to not have a prominent attack stat, which is unfortunate, because it’s one of my favorite new mons

Dudunsparce is actually amazing. The iconic sound effect of du dun gives the feeling of suspense for the evolution and we get it, a longer dunsparce. Keeps the uselessness and the Pokémon is meant more as a “ok, now you get what your asking for” than an actual evolution. It could always have a higher evolution called dundundunsparce.
Game Freak just wanted to piss us off for talking shit about them, so they made Dudunsparce.

You know, I was actually really excited for Dachbun. My family is a dog family, (well we started feeding a stray cat after our dog died...) But my little sister loves dachshunds, especially when her best friend owns two of them. She also has a crush on Alcreamy, so this one works so well for her.
I don’t get why people are so disappointed with Tinkaton. Yes, I wish they would’ve given it at least like 10 more points in the attack stat, but Gigaton hammer still does a lot of damage, and it simply would not be balanced if they gave a Pokémon with the best typing a 160bp move with very little drawback and high attack stat. I think it also makes sense thematically because it is like a smol mon with a big ass hammer so it’s not super strong itself but the hammer is what does the damage. One thing I do wish they did do is give it a new ability like iron fist but for hammer moves like gigaton hammer, hammer arm, wood hammer, ice hammer, and dragon hammer. It gets a lot of these moves and I think it makes sense that these would do more than it’s other attacks

Its hard not to be underwhelming when you have unprecedented power creep on one side (gameplay) and tinkaton, farigiraf, and pooper on the other side (aesthetics)
