I personally like CJs other ones like the hand drawn or graphiti because they would appeal to more people, because me and a bunch of the audience don’t watch steinfeld so we wouldn’t get that one
And the black one is dope but if I’m gonna buy merch I would probrably want something that shows the brand more, but I still they should sell that one
I think they should reconsider the get a job one and all of CJs other designs. Just my opinion

I am happy to see Matt recognize the feedback comments on the merch. I feel bad but he is playing to his taste, not the people buying it. You gotta make it your own but when only you like it, there's an issue.

Come on man, the Get a Job one was clearly the standout. The main thing is that people don't need to know hi5 in order to find it funny (as a slogan on a shirt), and people who know hi5 will love it.

Absolutely Get a Job was the best. They dismissed it so quickly. Made a huge mistake. Hannah is my favourite out of literally everyone in hi5 and she should be in front of the camera way more.

Yeah that one is dope. Also some of the other ones of CJs I really like but I don’t watch steinfeld so I personally wouldnt get that merch. My personal favorite was the get a job and CJs tally mark one
I'm sad about Woods RIP shirt design, I would've totally bought that. I like the running joke about the dead channels (ie Reked, Googly Eyes, Battle Universe, Totally Trendy, Team Edge Gaming, Matthias which was technically resurrected haha, etc).
I like Quinns designs but a large amount of the time I don't really like minimal design and won't buy it, Seiges is creative it's just not my style, and to be entirely honest I low key hate Sam's design. I've seen the playbar design before for other channels (idk where specifically sorry), it didn't appeal to me then and it still doesn't, even with the reflective part.
Out of the 3 probably would buy Quinns, but I'm sad we didn't really get an option to make the choice, like a poll on what we'd like more vs we get to see all these cool designs but we only get to choose from 3 that we didn't choose ourselves as fans. Still glad we got merch just sad about the designs that I really liked but didn't get to choose, because Matthias and Tanner didn't like them.
Side note, I understand the copyright issue, and would've always been fine with that being eliminated for that reason, although loved that design too.
I wouldn’t buy any of the ones they chose tbh. I was honestly disappointed that CJ’s and Hannah’s designs were knocked off because I feel like a majority of their audience - including me - like those aesthetics more and I feel like they represent the brand more.
Please make new hands for hannahs idea, I would actually buy that one and "the get a job" one. Quin's idea I understand and also appreciate but the others just doesn't make sense to me. So no merch for me I guess :(

@@MemeMan99 it's safe if you make them in a sterile area, I've made 125 masks so far, we just had to wipe everything down in the area we were making them first.

The format was a little strange, I think letting people see all of the ideas and not being able to buy the ones they actually really liked a little dividing. It should have been a vote to which would be turned into merch (the ones with the ability to) not a vote of merch already decided; just my opinion though.
Yeah, but now you're voting with money that they get instead of just responding to a poll. In that respect it's a smart business move.

How do we solve the problem though? Opening a poll would make it so we made a bunch of merch no one buys because the majority of people voting wouldn’t buy what they voted for.
@@onlyoverkill the vote by purchase is ingenious for sure, so I'd keep. But perhaps categorizing the designs for the original poll (cold wear, parody wear, or perhaps just by the designer) and then making those be the ones to go head to head after the polling was finished for 1st. (which could be interesting if it was a designer war as much as a clothing war, your employees might even feel the need to advertise it themselves as well) But like I said, ingenious idea that would've definitely worked better if people didn't get a taste of something "more their speed".

I have a suggestion, In my opinion I like Hannah’s design(s) the best but you should use Woods idea with putting all the channels that died/been canceled on the back. I think that would be really cool!

So with the black T-shirt, what if the whole front could be designed with a ghosted hi-5 logo in a geometric pattern, kind of like a checkerboard? On Sam's, could the reflective play button show the play bar below the silver reflective screen, would it have the company name stitched on the side of the sleeve, or would it be in the middle of the screen? What if Hannah's was a Hi-5 logo on the front and 'Get a Job' on the back across the shoulder area?

I really liked the play bar design I think if you have a rectangle and then had the whole hi-5 stereo cast in it then have the play bar down below that would look amazing.
