When this information first came to light I thought that it was one of the most significant political stories that I have seen. The sheer hard work and first class journalism that went into this investigation is worthy of the highest praise and awards.
I may be naive but why would any organisation or individual give significant sums of money to political parties or M.P.'s if they were not trying to garner influence with them in ways that would be beneficial to that organisation / individual?
