This is much better than the interview where Robert Deniro acts like never met Tarantino and never heard of Jackie Brown. Bob has a lot to remember anyway, he's excused

No I think this was a screening of the movie so Tarantino and De Niro were just briefly talking about it before it was screened.

DeNiro is one of, if not the most notoriously bad/ boring/ unengaging A-List actor interviews for decades now.

This was fantastic - why would we want to hear either of them talk about anything else, other than this intricate process they've devoted their lives to - tho Quentin's also hugely engaging when he talks about movies in general - but this was touching on some deep stuff

I happened to have a day off and was walking past the cinema and noticed JB was playing. This was pre internet and I hadn’t really heard much about the movie… but I saw it was a QT film… and gaaaawd dang… did I remember Pulp Fiction, which I’d seen 3 years prior, also by chance.
I knew I was in for an enjoyable ride as soon as that 70s beat started and both the tone of the film and choice of shots let me realize that another masterpiece of story telling was going to unfold… a quiet “little” movie with excellent character pieces for everyone involved.
Just a pure and subtle delight.

Totally. This is a long 11 minute interview where Tarantino talks for most of it. He's so extra. Deniro seems pretty chill; I'm sure it's pretty draining to be around Tarantino. Was wondering why they haven't worked together since, but this interaction seems to give the answer. He probably finds him a bit annoying.

I don't think DeNiro was crap in it, but I agree it wasn't a great role no. The role and his work in the film doesn't measure up to his work in any of his most impressive contributions to cinema like raging bull, heat, taxi driver etc. But it's a decent film nonetheless.
