- The very first Starbucks in Rome!
I was honestly curious to try it and take you guys with me, so I braved the crowd and went on the opening day.
-
Also bonus walk on a lovely area right by Castel Sant'Angelo.
Don't miss this spot if you're travelling to Rome this summer.

I'm a New Yorker and I never go to Starbucks. Having a Starbucks in Rome is like going to Italy for pizza at Pizza Hut. It's sacrilege.
It's lovely to have you back doing videos again.❤
Italy has the best coffee shops ! It’s funny there was a line at a Starbucks 😹
It is INSANE that anyone would go to Starbucks in Italy. **SIGH**
@@julierogers1155 I can understand people being curious to try it once. American tourists will continue to go in lol
@@S.C- Yes, I understand too. I am American, and I avoid Starbucks at all costs. Sadly, you are correct ... American tourists will go to Starbucks in Italy. A pity.
I wouldn't go to a Starbucks if I'm in italy bc where I live in so cal there's one every other block but their Frappuccinos are good, I like the mocha ones especially. But maybe for the locals it's fun and new. No reason to dunk all over it
@@teddysaginaw9101 Each of us is entitled to our own opinion.
Lovely video. I like how you included a mix of things - Starbucks, church, lunch, brother, walk, etc. Just lovely.
Yes, more vlogs !!
Favorite part was you walking around! ❤
You are from there ?
Although Florence it's the love of my life, Rome has something special. The air feels special and different, the atmosphere is indescribable. Your videos always brings back those feelings, like I'm there again. Thanks!
You were very brave going on opening day!! I'm glad you didn't have to wait in line for hours. I love your videos! Could you do one of what the different types of transporation look like? For example, if I'm staying near Vatican City and want to go to the Colosseo, what are the different ways I can get there, and what do you recommend?
Thank you, I really enjoy your presentation of such a beautiful city
Ughh. Every time I see an America garbage-trash food restaurant in Italy, like McDonalds, a little optimistic part of me dies. Per favore, no pinche' cibo spazzatura! It's incredulous to have a Starbucks in Italy! What is their local marketing campaign? "Hey are you tired of really good coffee? How would you like instead some garbage water that is 1000 calories?"
Brandon, YOU are singing my song!
Well stated. Thank you!
Hahahaha
PLEASE do not let this American behemoth (Starbucks) change &/or destroy your culture, your cuisine.
The last place I'd go for coffee in Rome is Starbucks I hear ya on that one.
Oh come on. There are McDonald’s on rome too
@@Chrisb8s And? Not understanding your point.
@Chrisb8s if rome gets an In n Out I might be tempted lol. I'll tell you one thing for sure though, if they ever do get one it will be cars lined up just like here. Can't beat a double double animal style
@@teddysaginaw9101 To each their own.
For me, it will be a sad day when the world is filled with the same 10 corporations, and the same restaurants. And when all the unique things that make travel so wonderful disappear I hope I am not around to see it.
UGH. Starbucks ... avoid it!
A walk thru Trastevere is always welcome!
I am so happy you are posting videos again. I live in USA and do not like STARBUCKS. its overpriced and full of sugar but I do realized they are very good on marketing. I just came back from Rome< Florence and Venezia and I noticed that the restaurants play american music instead of Italian music. That was a dissapointment. Keep Italy as italian can be, please.
i will be in Rome for the first time tommarrow and I won't be looking for Starbuck's
I've had Starbucks just once in Sydney, I certainly wouldn't go to Rome for one!
Wait till they open an In n Out your mind will be blown 😅
Your hair looks really nice 👍
Goodness. Starbucks in Rome.
I also almost always get the Caramel Frappuccino 😂
As an Italian New Yorker people typically do skip lunch here lol
I dont I typically skip breakfast i noticed
Look at ALL the PLASTIC that will NOT break down for hundreds of YEARS!
Ok their Frappuccinos are really good gotta say
Coming from someone who lives in America where Starbucks is everywhere!!!
Trust me, avoid it!!!
I like Starbucks but it doesn’t belong in Italy. The quality is just not there and it’s overpriced. BUT what I found missing in Italy was a place to sit down, relax, use a little WiFi. Italy should add some of their own shops for this. I get why they do the coffee bars, but there is so much walking in Rome that a place to have a break is great. I’d just much rather see it in a real coffee shop than a chain like Starbucks.
DEVIL = Starbucks
Ewww, Starbucks! 😂 I didn’t go there when I lived in the US. When they opened in my city in Germany, we refused to go and in Italy either. Germany and Italy have so many good local cafes, why go to Starbucks?
I was hoping Italy would never let Starbucks get into the country... I mean, why???
Could you write the address of where it is located at
no dai addirittura? skifo Starbucks un saluto da Los Angeles, oleato?? mwahshaha do they have Apple Crisp? I would go to Starbucks when I had no choice, but it's not a good organization
Is thier any branch. Of tim horton in rome?
It's a long time to see u... Can u tell me, milvio..?
No, no, no.... not in Italy! No!!!
Please don't let Starbucks ruin your beautiful culture!
😞
Who is from Italy?
