beautiful work,my granddaughter love's wolf's,her room has a wolf theme,l'd love to purchase a kit for her because she just started needle felting, thank you for the video.
I have watched your videos for a little while now...at times, I have to admit, I do fast forward them but all in all they are informative and very good for me - a novice in every aspect of felting. But! I would love to learn so I could make a friend of mine two cats, modelled after her cats - Casper & Gavin. Casper has gone but I've got several photos of him. Gavin is on his last legs so to speak and I have photos of him as well. I might touch base with you - Serafina, to ask what I would need to do to start. Regards, Maureen
Wow, I'm seriously impressed by this as I have a Czech Wolfdog and a Sarloos Wolfdog, the look you have achieved is incredible, one exception...Wolves never have blue eyes, that's a Husky dog thing and there are zero wolf genes in a Husky, Wolves have amber through to brown eyes!
Hi Sara! I love the wolf, really well done. Your tutorials are really inspiring and enjoyable to watch, not to mention helpful. Here are some things I would love to see in the future -meerkat, elephant, beaver, mink, skunk, spotted and striped are both really pretty. Maybe some non-mammals would be cool, too. I love frogs! Whales, seal, manatee. Just a few things that come to mind. As always, looking forward to seeing what you do next. Happy Holidays to you and the crew!
While watching the high speed preview, when you were making the face prior to any color except for the nose and black of the eyes; all I could think of was the dragon from the Never Ending Story. The face looked just like it from the movie. :) I just got my order of fibery goodness last week. My plan is to make the chipmunk, fox and possibly a mouse. I just love the colors. I guess I should join Facebook now. ;)
Sorry this isn't related to this video, but I was wondering if you've ever felted some kind of animal mask? I saw some great felted animal costumes, almost like mascot costumes but not so big and more realistic, I'd love to try making one but wouldn't know where to start.
Love your work...just beautiful. The sound needs more improving.. It echos , like you were in an empty room and your little buddy sounds like she's talking to you across the room and sometimes is difficult to understand. You should consider improving it . If I lived closer to your shop, I'd be hanging out there. Love what I see. I teach needle felting and love learning all I can from wonderful artists. What gauge wire do you use on your armatures?
Just come across this, and it's amazing! I love how they look so realistic and are posable. How small could you go with needle felt? (I tend to work in about 1:12/1:9 scale)
Hello! I have been watching your videos and your creations are super awesome. I have never done needle felting but I want to and have been looking in your shop at your kits and everything cause I have absolutely nothing! lol and I need to get stuff to start with and I was hoping you could help me. I don't want to get something too hard and get discouraged. So is there any kits that you would recommend for beginners for their first project and tools? Thanks so much love your work.
I know this will take awhile but if you could please do a tutorial on Akitas, they are a large breed of dog. My daughter Summer Rose misses her dog Brutus who was a black and white Akita. I have been searching EVERYWHERE for an Akita anything at this point and keep coming up empty handed. Akitas are a more rare breed compaired to Huskies, Labs, Bully breeds, toy breeds, and golden retrievers so they are next to impossible to find stuffies, notebooks, figurines and other merch with Akitas on them, so I would really like to make her an Akita that looks EXACTLY like Brutie-Tootie the gentle giant. Though I maybe able to figure it out myself by tweeking THIS tutorial so that it looks more like an Akita, they are bigger than a wolf, their heads are bigger and a little more rounded, but similar in shape; they have a thicker coat like a husky's, and they have fluffy curly tails like huskies; and of course their coloring is different. But I would still LOVE to see how you would do it, especially with the fur part because they have thick thick fur. They have a thicker shorter undercoat, a slightly longer and not as thick middle coat and then the long thick top coat. They are Japanese mountain dogs, they are a working dog, and are made for the freezing cold temperatures and snow. They are so fun to watch playing in the snow, it makes them frisky and act hyper active puppies running, jumping, rolling around in the snow, they bite at falling snow flakes, LOVE when you throw snowballs for them to catch and eat....
+Stephanie Shannon Lanyon We had an Akita - what you need to do is print out pictures of one or yours from different angles, front, back, sides, angled, bottom ... and go for it. My hubby likes MeerKats and that's what I did -- it came out wonderful.
Stephanie Shannon Lanyon google chicktin creations in the uk she makes specially comittioned dogs from photos, we had a jack russel done by her perfect markings and a good price
Is there a wool alternative? I've watched some horrifying videos about the wool industry, and I just can't get myself to support the cruelty. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
awww this makes me so sad. yes please search a little harder. i live in maine and the animals are like pets. People, well really families, moms and dads and kids keep sheep, alpacas, cashmere goats, llamas, angora rabbits, angora cats! and did you know many types of dogs fur can be made into wool as well? Wool is wonderful! we have fiber arts fairs and farm days and we go visit them. it's obvious the animals like people, they run to the fence to meet us. you can make certain the wool you buy is humanely sourced by purchasing it from people like sara who sell what they harvest. (I am not affiliated with her) i would guess all of her wool comes from farms of people she knows. i imagine if you search maine fiber arts you will find plenty of humanely sourced wool as well. the animals have been domesticated so long, it's not like they can live freely somewhere and be healthy. they pretty much depend on people now and i believe there is a far larger community farming humanely in the american wool industry than you are aware of. you can find many B&B farms to stay at if you are interested in seeing how much care these animals require. they are a lively hood and a love. these people love their wooly friends like mad. The kiss em and hug them and cry when they're sick. give well loved wool a chance!
do your research, i buy at a local well known farm that loves and treats their animals great, just educate yourself about the products available locally!
Amazing felting, Sara! I loved this wolf tutorial, so realist! Thank you!
I am truly amazed with your art! I just can't believe how the wolf takes form in front of my eyes. Wonderful. Congratulations!
what a beautiful job. I can't. wait to try this one. I'm very new to felting but I'm loving it. thank you!
Hello 👋
Wow! That is really beautiful, and I didn't know it was possible to felt a whole layer and then attach it on! Very inspiring!
I slowed down the playback speed as far as it would go and used this video as a tutorial.....super fun and a great challenge!
There is something awfully poetic about turning sheep wool into wolves. ;)
Kim Houtkamp ikr it just doesn't seem right

Stephanie Shannon Lanyon Hmm... a black and white Akita Inu? Does that even exist? I thought they are only yellow and white or ivory and white. x3
It might have been an american akita inu which tend to have two 'block' colors.
Stephanie Shannon Lanyon google chicktin creations in the uk she makes specially comittioned dogs from photos, we had a jack russel done by her perfect markings and a good price
Steve Abrahams Thank you, I will check them out.

6:50 your welcome
The wolf looking like real
About the wolf, I'm not saying it's bad but I just think the face is a little too fluffy and it's legs are a little skinny🙂
you should show her what you've made for her "objective opinion " I know I'd love to see. 👍🏻
Wow
I met them before they came to my school
I love!!!
I love this, except for the fact that wolves dont have blue eyes...
Hello
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌
😍😍👏🏼👏🏼
You'll get it if you look at my picture
WHY DOES SHE HAVE A PUPPET ???
Because she can... :)
Milo is a character that she used to fill in busy time. He is funny and keeps thing moving. It is a brilliant idea.
Because she can
What puppet?
They look like me
!!!
wolf in sheep's clothing lol
Amazing craft! However... the puppet is soooo annoying ;)
Your EXTREMELY talented but I do hope your using Vegan felt because wool is cruel!
Wool isn't particularly cruel actually, sheep have to be sheered.
Raty7145 the reason sheep have to be sheered is because of us you should resarch it, also if its from a CRUELTY FREE farm then its fine
Lol a little education goes a long way!
Is there a wool alternative? I've watched some horrifying videos about the wool industry, and I just can't get myself to support the cruelty. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
