The one that was called "Boom", was actually an Izmir BonBon. They're so delicious. Kumpir is basically jacket potatoes. I am from Turkey, in Kuşadası, and I love the food here.
I used to be a chef at a Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant and we made lahmacun as one of the lunch items. We stuffed it with fresh parsley and pickled red onions and sumac seasoning and rolled them up. I was so upset when I had to go gluten free and couldn’t eat them anymore. I used to take the leftover meat mixture and make my own gluten free ones at home sometimes.
So, as a Türk, I’m reallly happy that you liked these food because it’s so important to me for Americans or people from other countries to come and like things and be happy in Türkiye ❤ I hope you come again to Türkiye
